Killzone 3 has low resolution particle effects. The performance shouldn't be bad at all. lolNeither Uncharted 2 or Gears 3 have dynamic texturing. Only one game this gen does that. It's called RAGE.

im only a couple of hours in to gears 3 but so far its a disappointing graphically. uncharted 2 seems much better, although i think crysis 2 actually out does uc2, maybe not in the setpieces but certainly in terms of consistency. so my verdict, until i finish gears 3, is... crysis 2

What a bunch of shananigans. Thos pics are probably from like U2 pre-alpha stage. It certainly doesn't look like that when playing. Compare the AK on his back and compare to UDF(!). Much closer and still much less jaggies... something is fishy about these pics..

Nevertheless MLAA takes 3.5ms so in any case Uncharted 2 demands more juice in the AA department. Also I like to see what you mean with shadow resolution.

Anyway, if you don't notice the difference you're blind. Look at the back of his armor, it's just generally smoother. Along with his skin, this was particularly noticeable on the character Baird.
