With the PSP version coming out, with the same title and gameplay concept, will LBP remain exclusive? I mean we already don't count MLB exlusive so it only makes sense not the count LBP...

We don't really know how different it is to the console version yet (At least I don't). Let's just say it is.Floppy_Jimif it's the same, then not exclusive :P
1) its not the same game, its massively downgraded
2) Its still a sony exclusive, as the psp is a sony product
So yes, its exclusive.
They are different games.
And whether they are "exclusive" or not, they are not on the competition's systems.

I don't think it'll just be a straight port though, it's probably an entirely new LBP game designed for the PSP. Or maybe not? I haven't been paying much attention to it really.
I hereby declare it a- Cow exclusive :P

sony exclusive lawl Yeah it is sony exclusive. Not only that, LBP will be a completely different game. It will have lesser graphics, levels, online play ect. It will also come with a different story. The only similarity is the concept and title. The ps3 version of LBP is exclusive, the ip though is sony exclusive. Once again, exclusive no matter how you look at it.gears 1 is not an exclusiveI don't understand how Ninja Gaiden Sigma and MLB are not considered exclusives, but Gears is.

So that means that Mass Effect, L4D and many other 360 games should now be added to teh exclusive list since they are not the PS3. Your not getting it. Mass effect, L4D and these others are the EXACT SAME GAMES on both systems, they are literally ports of each other. Same story, same missions, same everything. Is mass effect and L4D are 360 exclusive, then every multiplat there is might as well be too. LBP though is a different game, different story, different graphics. Its not the same game, just the same concept.[QUOTE="II-FBIsniper-II"]Cows, just a fair warning, using the term "sony exclusive" will not help you...at all. *cough*MS exclusives*cough*ceruxx
Cows need to accept MS exclusives anyway.
No, not really.[QUOTE="Floppy_Jim"]We don't really know how different it is to the console version yet (At least I don't). Let's just say it is.tagyhagThis, it's better if we wait for the reviews to see just how different it is from the PS3 counterpart.
This is System Wars. You know all these "gamers" will talk about it ad nauseam before the reviews actually come out.

We don't count games that are on the DS and Wii has exclusive....lets not go down this road Its not about graphics so much really. But if this psp version of LBP offers different content, or a different storyline and missions. Then its exclusive. The issue here is that people dont know what exclusive is and theres no rules for them. And about wii games, if the content is different its exclusive. But if the sotryline and content is the same its multiplat. Its judgement really.[QUOTE="Jandurin"]ermmmm, if it's the same title and gameplay, then it's not exclusiveHarlockJCI would say it comes down to the story mode. If both games have the same story mode than no it's not exclusive.
yeah this, we'll see come launch if it's the same game with the same single player experience downgraded, i probably won't buy it as i already have the ps3 version, and it won't be exclusive (not a reason for me not buying it). if it is different then i will buy it and it will be exclusive.

I disagree though I think what is and is not exclusive is black and white just fanboys try to change the rules to make X system look better.
I love how Sony exclusive works but Microsoft exclusive doesn't.
Most PC games require Windows.
With that being said, they're different games. Same concept but different games.

Edit: Cause I read at GS that they're trying to make it as close to the PS3 version as possible so... we'll see.

I disagree though I think what is and is not exclusive is black and white just fanboys try to change the rules to make X system look better. Thats the main problem. Faboys change the rules to suit them. But then you get little things though like extra content. That where things get a little grey. Like sould caliber 4 with the disk exclusive characters, and red alert 3 having extras on the ps3. Finding the cut off point where a game becoms exclusive, and not multiplat, is not as easy is the bare bones of each game are the same. That the problem.[QUOTE="NinjaMunkey01"] Its not about graphics so much really. But if this psp version of LBP offers different content, or a different storyline and missions. Then its exclusive. Different levels, more features, better user generated content, multiplayer, etc. PS3 version is obviously alot better than the psp version. They aren't the same game. Exclusive. And if anyone says otherwise :(. We already know that the ps3 version has a better thermometer allowing for more stuff on user created level. More variation. Different features, different stages, better physics, more point bubbles. Everything is better on the ps3. PSP doesn't have multiplayer, it is a half baked version that won't feature the 1 million stages. Won't have the paintanator, won't have anything that made the ps3 that special.
