But theres got to be a cut off point somewhere.There must be a point where the game is so much better or sifferent that it becomes exclusive. The NGS game that came out for the ps3, some people call that exclusive. thats the problem. Its hard to find a cut off point for every game that works.
additionally sony has said LBP PSP will have a lot of content from the PS3 version with "some new content" as a sony rep said
so they are going to be very similar, including the ever popular floaty jump and creative levels that hide the lack of real platforming difficulty and challenge

I can think of multiple times where thats happened. Gears 1 and ME for example. We all knew it was going to PC but alot of lemmings and others called it an exclusive till that day. Even then , that should be the rule.

The answer would be no it is still the same game just better. Look at DQ4 on the DS compared to the NES or NGS on the PS3 compared to the Xbox.

Well first of all... only people who dont count MLB and LBP as exclusives are fanboys. Let's put it this way, in terms of consoles (PC counts), they are exclusives. But in terms of whole video game industry, they're not.

Why would it not be? If the "story mode" is the same then it's the same game. Just if you have it on the PS3 then you get extras levels just like there would be extra levels on the PSP. Right now we know almost nothing about the game though.

No it isn't. A sony exclusive. It is completely two different entities that are named littlbigplanet ps3, and littlebigplanet psp. Littlebigplanet psp has an exclusive story mode and exclusive user generated content. The ps3 has exclusive story mdoe and exclusive user generated content. :(. Sony exclusive is fanboy verbatim which is almost exactly the same asmicrosoft exclusive.

LOL, if you played GRAW, there is no way in hell you can call the PC and 360 versions the same, it's not even close. But different levels for LBP is a good thing.

If the core game is still the same between the two versions, then no it's not exclusive. If the two are dramatically different, then yes it is exclusive.
If the people on this thread are to be believed that there are new levels/ a new story mode for LBP:PSP then I'd say that ends the argument right there.
If you believe that this is nothing more than a straight port, then bide your time. More information proving (or disproving) your claim will be here shortly. And until the game releases, even if it was a straight port, The PS3 version would be "exclusive" until the PSP version drops. So it isn't like you can "get in on teh pwnage" early by talking about this now, as opposed to when you have the proof you need.

They have not changed any rules. They could be different games I would base it on the "story mode" more than anything else. If the story mode is basely the same than it's more or less the same game. Just like remakes and how they are never called exclusives.
