So much for the new falcon chips

lol, my friend's 360 broke today. Mine broke a couple of months ago. It's all good now though (at least I hope)

that is pure awesomeness. i knew those chips would solve nothing. sorry about your 360, honestly. ive had 2 die on me, but you gotta see the irony in it all. itll never end, itll never be fixed. azshorty2003

I guess you missed all the posts questioning if the pictured console has one the new Falcon chips inside it...and all the other posts that fail to prove that this machine indeed has the newer chip.

The irony of it all is that some people have had 2 to 5 machines die on them...and here I am with a launch 360 that has given me absolutely no problems at all.

Like it or not the 360 is still suffering from a poor design flaw and a new chip wasn't the answer. A total redesign is in order.

Like it or not, the Falcon chip promises to fix the design flaw. You are speculating that the chip will not fix the problem. If you believe the nonsense a couple of SW members posted, then your decision making abilities are very much lacking.

I will wait for evidence - pro and con - to start coming in.

I have a launch 360 right now, so the Falcon chip will not affect me one way or the other...but it is reasuring that MS warranty will take care of any problems I might have.

Nah Wii60 combo is more effective.

Again, getting a 360 is pointless. PSPC makes more sense and get a Wii if you have some cash lying around. But a 360 is a ripoff of epic levels.

oh really...I guess the ps3 is better because instead of playing games I can use it as a grill...I am sure that is worth 500 bucks
