So people think Skyward sword actually looks that bad? (56k users beware)

I know you were trying to be a smartalec, but 720p actually IS old and terrible to us hermits. I play on a 30" Dell U3011 at 25x16. Until you see that for yourself in person you just don't understand.

It's a Damn shame when after nearly 5 yrs on the market people are still comparing last gen games to the wii... What a complete waist of power.

Hey now , dont attack Resident evil... RE alone invented a new genre , that of survival/horror!! A bit respect!!! I know series lost their way with RE4 and more of all RE5 but still , nice scores and one of a kind games , specially RE , RE 2 and RE remake.AzatiS

REmake and Twilight Princess both scored 8.9 on GC, but Twilight Princess only got knocked .1 on GS, where as REmake has a much lower MC score (GS did not review Archives.)Prerendered environments allow a game to look good. That's why RE2 had really good environments, even though their character models were beyond horrid. They're two totally different games with way different art styles also.

Revelations is supposed to go back to horror settings. The only news we've gotten for RE6 is that the trailers have been fake. I doubt Capcom would want to go back to horror after selling so well with the new formula. And nope, I vote AAA for it because no one should expect a 10.

I messed that up. What I meant was it plays in 480i, or 704x480, or 7x4 for short. The important number is the 4. Todays PC games are made in 2560x1600, or 25x16 for short. The important number again being the 16. Modern games are thus 4 times sharper than last gen games that play at 7x4.

Long story short, Zelda SS is last gen. And it looks like a cartoon. And it has bad music...

Same here , was a a youngster when i first saw RE preview in a magazine ( blood was green in magazine screenshots of game , dunno why lol ) . I felt in love with it. I was zombie fan and immediatly i loved that game. Bought it day 1. And thats it...!

I Became a fan even from first second of that cheesy real actors intro!. But you dont want to know my opinion about RE4 and RE5... You really dont! I wonder how CRAPCOM didnt ban me from official CRAPCOP forums with all this negativity i said about RE4/RE5 back on their releases.

Btw about Zelda SS graphics... I love the art but i feel from a technical standpoint , game isnt that good ( graphically speaking ). I would prefer Wind wakers cel shaded graphics with a more "Adult" approach anytime, but thats just me i guess. That doesnt mean Zelda SS will be bad by any means , just saying my opinion about graphics alone.

Zelda is in a whole other league above it.

I gotta admit I was on the fence when it was first shown at E3 but the recent footage just show how clean and sharp the visuals turned out.

I just hope it doesn't look too jaggirific on my 40"...

Haters gonna hate. SS looks amazing to me, people didn't like WW graphics when it first came out but then when it got great reviews everybody thought it was the greatest thing ever.

I think Skyward Sword will be awesome. I'm not holding out for top-notch graphics, as the Wii naturally falls short on that front.
