Sony has had three AAAe's the last 2 months, more than X1 has had in its entire life cycle

With MLB The Show coming up, it could very well be four. But the three games for now are Nioh, Horizon, and Persona 5. That doesn't include the many other great exclusives that just missed the mark with a score of 8 (Yakuza 0, Gravity Rush, Last Guardian). Meanwhile, the last great Xbox AAA was Forza Horizon 3, which technically is also on PC, but I will give MS that because it truly is a great game. Then there's Gears 4 and Halo 5, which score 7/10 and 8/10, and are in some ways a shadow of their former selves. What other exclusives are there for MS? Quantum Break and ReCore were both flops (and are also on PC). Halo Wars 2 (which I don't think anyone really cared about), scored a 6/10. So I guess my question is... Does MS really think they can continue relying just on hardware to woo gamers? I mentioned the three Sony AAAe's, but those were just within the last few months. Let's not forget Bloodborne, Uncharted 4, and then there's upcoming games like God of War, Uncharted Lost Legacy, Spiderman, Gran Turismo, Last of Us Part II, Detroit: Become Human, DREAMS, Days Gone, Ni No Kuni 2, Crash Trilogy, and more.

The xbone is the most pathetic excuse for a console i've ever seen. The thing is literally a waste of space. M$ right now is just lowering the standards of the gaming industry with their clueless behavior.

While the PS4 is certainly shining at the moment it was just as shite for exclusives for the first 2 or 3 years of it's life and mainly lived off remaster/remakes.

Guess we will see how E3 pans out. Sea of thieves and Crackdown 3 both look like they could at least start to turn things around for MS.

Wait until you feel the Scorpio sting. All the X1 shit games will be in glorious 4K, which will automatically move their scores to AAA status.

As far as I'm concerned xbox is dead and it's got to take something special from the scorpio before i pay anymore attention to the xbox brand.

As bad as you think the PS4 was the xbox one was worse,not a single year the xbox one got more games or higher rated than the PS4 since 2013,so you may say it has shit reality is the PS4 has 4 games rated 90 on meta since 2013,the xbox one has 1.

On 2014 TLOU,on 2015,Bloodborn,on 2016 Uncharted 4,on 2017 Persona,not to mention Nier is 88 and Horizon 89 a hair from 90 as well.

This year the PS4 is simply killing it.

By the way the PS4 is 3 years old and a few months.

Sea of thieves look ok,crackdown on its las chapter sucked and on its first one was a mid 80's game so i don't see those games turning anything around,and games that get announce on E3 for xbox one i am sure will not make it this year.

Xbox One is far from bad. It gets most multiplats, have some nice exclusives and is selling more or less as much as a 360 or a PS3 in their days.

The thing is that PS4 has been insanely good at everything (quality, diversity, sales, etc)!!!

I mean, it's a good console with a great library, it's just that currently PS4 does everything it can do but better, with more on the top. There are just too few reasons to pick an Xbox over the PS4; and the Scorpio simply being more powerful than a PS4 is not really reason enough to take notice.

There are plenty of places on the internet where you can discuss games perfectly well. In fact the PS4 board here is much better for that than the xbone board. The xbone board is mostly dead. Here and there a legitimate xbox fan writes about how dissapointing the xbone is and he gets jumped by the same lemmings defending the indefendible. If anything lemmings are more dangerous for gaming now since they're defending a crappy future for the gaming industry by defending a company that is doing everything badly. Gears 4, FH3, Halo Wars 2 are selling. Sony Japanese games are flopping hard.

Microsoft made 6.6 billion in 2016 with just half the install base of the Playstation 4. Sony only made 7.8 billion and has double the install base. The real winner is Microsoft you guys are too clueless to see that though.

The last year and a half of original Xbox is eerily similar to now.

They released a GAMING console. It needs more and diverse games.

Even if you ignore the stupid exclusive rule that cows are trying to force on everyone, the first 2 years of Xbox One were great, last year or so has been crazy empty except for Gears, Forza, Recore and a few indies.

What AAA games did Sony have in the middle of 2016 .. I tell you uncharted 4 and Microsoft had Quantum Break.

What AAA games had Sony for holiday 2016? Sony had Last Guardian and No Man Sky.

Microsoft had a brand new Gears of War with multiplayer and campaign. They had a new Dead Rising. They had a new Forza (FH3) Inside and Recore.

Roll on 2017 . Sony has got Japanese games that dont sell like Yakuza, Nier and Nioh. Horizon is the only AAA title since Uncharted 4.

For Microsoft we got Halo Wars, we expecting State of Decay, Crackdown and Seas of thieves in 2017, and Forza 7. And bet at E3 we see brand new game announcements.

For honor sold 56 per cent digital on xbox one. So we know for a fact xbox one gamers are buying games online more then ever. So its highly likely Halo Wars is doing well sales wise on PC and xbox one.

Sony has a VR headset, has a hand held on sale the Vita. Sony had Playstation Now on different devices and Playstation consoles.

Microsoft has Windows xbox app on PC and xbox.

We have a report MS made 6.6 million from software, xbox live. Sony made 7.8 from software and PSN. When Sony has 60 million consoles sold and only seeing a return of 7.8 billion, its curious.

What games are driving sales on those platforms though minecraft? People are not paying full price for that game right now. I think most of the revenue is coming in from xbox games sales, dlc and live subscriptions..
