You can't state that shit as fact if you do not have a word for word statement from Microsoft stating what those numbers include. The fact is no one knows what all is included in those numbers. All we know is Microsoft gaming division did very well but you show proof what that includes. I am not the one creating statements and then posting them as facts. The leadership made a ton of mistakes in developing and launching the XB1 and Phil Spencer has spent almost all of his tenure as head of the brand trying to turn it around.

He has done a great job, but he also realized that there is no hope changing the minds of people at this stage.

Journalists dont write about it, its hard to get 3rd party exclusives or content, public opinion has already chosen a console.

It makes business sense to move on.

Yes we can and we know the xbox one division is not accounted solely we know it for FACT,so again MS make profits even on PS4 which has almost double the user base of the xbox one.

As I already stated, nothing stipulates that PC cannot be brought up. Furthermore, I actually didn't bring up the PC. I simply stated that the PS4 does not get the majority of my playtime. I don't think X1 is a bad console but the new Ip's are are mediocre at best. Without Halo Gears and Forza MS is lost while Sony can create new IP's at the frop of a dime rather it be mainstream or niche.

Lemmings waited 4 years just to have anything to be excited about and it's not even games.

I know mate I used to play on the xbox all the time but ever since I bought a Pro I feel I have moved away from Xbox but that can all change once the Scorpio comes out bro.

Nah. Sony pretty much dominated 2016 and niether was that great in 2015. The X1 had a decent launch but no where close to what Sony is offering this year. We can argue opinions all day but MC says hi.

The Scorpio is irrelevent untill they show games. As of now the line up is midiocre.

I imagine that Scorpio will be sold at a profit. MS will measure how devout their following is and then weigh the decision of making a 9th gen console or not based on its performance there.

Operationally speaking, you don't put exclusive games on the chopping block unless there is some pressure exerted by the parent company to deliver financially. The XBox has an Achilles Heel. How they unveil the Scorpio and their software release cycle along with it will be very telling.

You know, I am happy with my Xbox One primarily as a source for third party titles. Playing games with my brother is lots of fun.

There are titles under the independent umbrella that look appealing to me that I am determined to give a go (Ori and Cuphead, for example) but I also want to try Sunset Overdrive when I have some free time.

Personally, the strongest titles and the ones that I feel most Xbox One owners gravitate towards (Halo, Gears of War and Forza) don't appeal to me but this year there are a number of titles such as the aforementioned Cuphead, Cities Skylines and Sea of Thieves that look appealing.

It has been a weird ride between my Xbox One and I. Games that looked interesting cropped up such as Scalebound and ReCore but for one reason or another they never left development or didn't meet expectations.

I do hope Microsoft rise to the occasion in light of the software output on PS4 and the potential success of the Switch. The system has its hits, for sure and I think it can deliver.

I was in a similar situation with the X1. Once they decided to put 1st party on PC, I felt like I had no incentive to keep it. Scalebound was also the last straw.

I was interested in Xbox 1 untill QB and Recore flopped. Then Scalebound was cancelled and my interest dropped to zero.

I really think you shouldn't have sold it. I have a feelin they'll announce major titles at E3.

I completely understand your fustration. It's been nearly 4 years and they don't have any major new IP's. Now their hyping Scorpio and multiplats.

The XBO had/has a lot of great games and it receives nearly ALL of the multiplats.. so if you're an XBO only gamer.. you're likely enjoying the hell out of your console. Having said that.. when you compare it to the other system's on the market.. namely the PS4 and PC, it falls flat.

Damn cows imploded in this thread. Firstly, why are some of the Xbox games being called multiplats at the same time half of the games listed that's on PS3 and PS4 are called exclusives, cows are silly lol. Secondly, I guess GameSpot's reviews matter again. Which is good because you could now reflect back and see which console has the most flops and the biggest flops overall ever, and they're not on the Xbox. Lastly, almost all of the PS "exclusive" doesn't sell as much as the Xbox exclusives, which is telling and shows you that folks here rather just make a list for the sake of making a list but the sales number shows they aren't buying them. This have gone more than a couple months, it's pretty embarrassing for the herd.

The biggest flop on this site is call Halo 5,and before that Halo MMC 2 halo games in a row flopped,TLOU was a new series but Halo? NO halo was a proven one that flopped..lol
