@Vatusus Aside from the remasters, and the aforementioned games, what amazing titles have come to the PS4 that this entire board seems to be unaware of?
1st. you =/= "this entire board"
2nd. Dragon Age Inquisition, Assassin's Creed Black Flag, AC Unity, Watch Dogs, Destiny, literally dozens of highly regarded indie titles, Mortal Kombat, Battlefield 4, Dying Light, Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 4, etc, etc... and also a couple of well rated exclusives such as infamous SS and Killzone SF. Personal preferences aside there is PLENTY to play on the PS4, so dont come with the "no games to play" excuse. People dont only play exclusives ya know? wich was my original point
I meant "entire board" as in the PS4 having "no games" is a highly discussed topic.
1. Dragon Age, Assassin's Creed Black Flag, Destiny, Watch Dogs, Battlefield 4, Shadow of Mordor, Far Cry 4, "etc, etc" - All available on my PS3. So aside from a graphical upgrade for most of these games (some you get a little bit extra something; modes, bonus content, etc.)
You are correct, there is plenty to play on PS4, if you skipped last gen... or you prefer the reasons listed in #1
People don't only play exclusives, great observation. Although I may be generalizing, someone who owns an X1 or PS4, more than likely owned one of, or both, of the previous MS and Sony consoles.
So in this case, "exclusives", not as in "Sony Exclusives", rather, as a "console exclusive" (not including PC), the PS4 and Xbox One for that matter have the better part of their library - the "good" games - available on the previous gen. That's not to say they won't get games, hell, Halo 5 and Uncharted 4 to name a few, maybe a God of War 4 reveal (wouldn't that be nice).
Until then, the investment into a next gen console is not necessary. "No games", as in, the "good" games that are available, came out on nearly every other machine.
Which... to tie it to my original post, may have contributed to the reason why Bloodborne sold better than expectations. Huge install base, and minimal competition for a purely next-gen experience.
