Yep, also, the advantage of used sales on consoles is easily offset by cheaper PC game versions on release, and by Steam sales/similiar deals which are rather rare on consoles...

Also, to make things even worse, there's a good chance consoles makers will be even more hostile towards used game market next gen, perhaps even completely blocking it. Now, that move would suck a lot, but judging by the direction where the industry's going, it's not much of a stretch...

Agree on all counts. The biggest issue is limiting the used market. We've seen it happen with passes, so I wouldn't be surprised at an advancement in the idea.

I know, I know, you don't find it funny, but what's there is there...

I'm well aware what's the actual topic, and my thoughts would be that I'm glad how my platform of preference is expanding, and gaining popularity!

I love PC gaming, I'd consider it my primary system, with the PS3 in 2nd. However the problem is after the first top 10 games on steam, the numbers per game range from 120-8,000. There is only621,000in all the steam games combined actually playing. Its the only downside, as most games have piss poor player bases compared to console counter parts. And all those cool indie MP games die off, games like RO2 get 500 peak, War of Roses , Ravaged, and pretty much every Indie game besides Medieval Warfare and Natural Selection 2 are dead. Black Ops 2 gets 650,000 peak alone let alone games like Halo, Uncharted, Madden, NHL, Fifa, Gears Ect added
