Ha, I hear ya on the handheld phobia, I played most of my GBA games on with the Gamecube adapter lol.

I was late with Megaman X as well, I don't think I actually got around to it until the end of gen 6. Such a great game though. Glad you saw that Egoraptor vid, I was thinking about linking it earlier. Pretty damn tight how they think that shit through. Guiding the player without being in their face about it, I never even knew haha. I was watching a similar video on Super Metroid the other day. Subtlety man, that shit is lost on so many devs these days.

And hell yeah Vectorman. I was just talking about that game the other day with one of the bros. It's funny, back in the day I didn't appreciate that game as much as I rightfully should have. When you think about it, we were spoiled back then. Tight ass games were coming out all the damn time. It was so easy for a gem to get lost in the pile.

And yeah bro. I bought a SNES controller to usb adapter to use on the PC a while back. Definitely worth it.

Anyway yeah man that sequelitis video is the shit, love his work in general. He just doesn't do enough of it, and probably going to be twice as lazy now that he's stuck on this Zelda thing because he wasn't happy with that one (which he should be, **** the ocarina fanbase). Regardless I guess I do appreciate playing it now as opposed to when I was a kid, I probably wouldn't have appreciated the little things this game does. Like if you do flame mammoth first that entire area has all this lava and shit, but if you do chill penguin? it's all iced up. Likewise if you kill i want to say storm eagle before spark mandrill, the mid boss in that level can't shoot lightning or whatever. Where the **** is that cool shit in todays games? How many open world games do we have? none of those missions can impact other missions even in the slightest? fucking lame.

**** it I'm buying a Wii u this month or the new 3DS. Should be able to find one somewhere. Out of curiosity anyone with bad eyesight would you recommend 3DS XL? from pics I looked at I can't tell if the screen is too small or not for me. I could go to a store and try one out, see how it feels.

XL has a bigger screen, but lower PPI (I think it's sub 100). If that matters to you at all, go with the smaller model.

That said, don't even consider the original line of 3DS models- the New ones, or bust.

I couldn't help but shake my head at whiny gamers begging for the small model of N3DS on a comments section online.

It sucks the US didn't get it, but Nintendo's reasons for it make sense from a business standpoint. Fascinates me how so many people feel entitled to "choices" from a company that's main concern is the bottom line, and the bottom line is determined by putting out what sells most.

Consumers want a product from a company that clearly has made that product, but won't bring it over...and the consumers are dicks because they acted like good consumers? That's the point your job is to demand, and Nintendo is supposed to deliver.

Not only is there obviously a demand if people are asking for it, but that whole "bottom line" excuse is always weak as ****. The bottom line is never the customers problem, or concern.

Lets look at it another way: Why have the N3DS exist at all? Why did NoJ feel the need to develop both the N3DS and N3DS XL? Why did NoE decide to make both an option? Would it not be simpler to simply market and distribute one of them? Would this not affect their bottom line?

On that note, why'd it take GameStop buying 100k+ copies of Xenoblade plus an exclusivity deal to get the game on North American shores a full year after it already got a fantastic English localization? Does NoA not always know what's best for America?

MH4 is getting a bit more engaging. At first it was a bit overwhelming and a chore, but as I'm figuring things out it gets more and more fun, and I become more and more willing to keep playing for longer stretches at a time.

Also helped that the winter storm in the area let me play all day today and yesterday.

Edit: Apparently my previous post was taken the wrong way. I didn't mean to defend Nintendo or its decision, I was just commenting on the sense of entitlement the commenters displayed that made them come off as whiny and pathetic. Whether or not Nintendo failed to deliver the product in question (and they did) doesn't matter to me because at the end of the day, there's nothing I can do about it. Shrug it off and move on, people.

So here's how I know I'm an adult. I get a new toy (Xbox One) after work, spend my time setting it up and don't have any time to play a game on it because of other stuff I have to do in the evening. It bites, man.

Oh well, my my first impression of Xbox One after one evening:

Menu is cluttered... How in the world do I find anything? Where is the settings? Oh! Press the start putting on the controller.

Hooking it up to my cable box is cool. Wife abhors that we need to have the Xbox on in order to wath TV, so that's enough of that.

Main home area lacks personality... Like, it matches Microsoft's look but it's very bland. I'm gonna have to see how I can customize it.

Overall, I'm very excited to have it and as I spend more time with it I'm sure I'll appreciate it more. I'm excited to play on Lockout again. :p

That dude is a horrible Director (District 9 was overrated as hell). So honestly I'm not hyped at all, also it looks like they are taking what happened in ACM as canon if it happens after Aliens...

Hmmm. ~ 1.3k posts on the The Order thread. Not bad. Granted, this would easily be a 2k-3k (if not more) thread by now, some 4-5 years ago; but early last year we had trouble getting any thread, not matter how long it remained sticky, to 1k. Perhaps SW is getting some users back.

That or there are more alts we need to take care of lulz.
