I started playing The Taken King a couple days ago, and man I'm starting to actually like Destiny. I HATED the original game with a passion, but it looks like Bungie actually managed to turn their original disaster into something enjoyable.
It'll lose it's luster. I was in the same situation, and then you run out of things to do and you obtain the best gear far too quickly. Bungie needs massive help when it comes to longevity with Destiny.
@Blabadon: So are you OK with the Pistons retiring everyone and their Mom's jersey? I mean Chauncey was alright......
They're retiring two players' jerseys, both of which were instrumental to the near-dynasty the Pistons had going and won accolades for their work, calm down.
Chauncey won a Finals MVP, outplayed Kobe to get it, finished sixth in MVP voting once (granted, on the Nuggets, whatever), and basically kept the team together, as demonstrated by the freefall that was the stupid Allen Iverson trade.
Let's get real, he's not Isiah, but him and Rip were the best backcourt in the league for however long they were together. With proper drafting (fucking '03 draft, fucking thinking Rodney Stuckey was the future), and not leaving Robert Fucking I-Will-Buzzer-Beat-Your-Team-So-Hard Horry open, we could have won more rings.
Him and Ben deserve it the most. Rip, Sheed, or Tayshaun would have been reaching.
Played Splatoon for the first time in seven weeks. Wrecked literally everyone, and consistently scored highest across both teams in all my games. Died a total of once, got 19 splats, and in six games, scored 10,300 something points.
For context, I still use my basic Carbon Roller, and I use dual analog.
Only played demon's souls, thought it was trash but that was a while ago and I want to at least give the series another shot.
If you want to give Souls another chance, I honestly think Bloodborne is your best bet- it's probably the best entryway into the series, since it's faster, and has better and more satisfying moment to moment gameplay. In a sense, it's like Devil May Cry. If you like it, you can move backwards to Dark Souls/II (although in my experience, it's very hard to go back from Bloodborne to Dark Souls- yours may vary).
@charizard1605: Persona 4 golden. I just ordered it physical so i'm not playing it yet. Don't own a Ps2 right now, I bought a PSTV on impulse for a 20 and haven't bought anything for it yet.
See that's the thing, if Bloodborne kinda feels like its own thing, i'd rather play dark souls so I can tell what the series is like at its core. And that's one of the things i remember about hating demon's souls, it was slow as hell. But still, I don't think I stuck with it long enough to at least form a full opinion.
Plus I can't stand that chromatic aberration bloodborne has :P But maybe i'll still try it down the road, speed very important with action games.

Bloodborne and Dark Souls are very similar structurally- literally, they follow the same structure. it is just a difference in setting and the moment to moment gameplay.
@charizard1605: Well yeah it looks identical structurally, I meant if the gameplay is faster like you said. If I like dark souls even just a tiny bit, i'll try bloodborne later.

May not be as good as Avatar but it's easily in my top 3 shows of all time, 1st being One Piece and 2nd being Avatar itself.
@Xaero_Gravity: I avoid any and all social issue conversation at Gaf for the same reason. That place is almost like a cult. So I try to stick to Amiibo discussion and code begging. Maybe a little sports talk here and there. But that "Strategic Butt Covering" thread almost made my head explode.
Smear campaign would be better if people weren't spelling out what exactly is going on in the actual threads , being char's cheer squad and everything.
I mean, obviously it's still ruffling feathers so what do I know. :P

What really makes it work is that he sells it with the idea of the therad.

That's what separates us trolling artists, from as you point his cheer leaders. They suck at it.
