The #Smear is spreading.

@khoofia_pika: You're doing the Lord's work
I was supposed to be burning you at the stake and counteracting the #SmearCampaign.
Something has gone horribly wrong.
No, but seriously, it's surprising how well MGS1 has aged. Still plays like a very good game. Some of the gimmicks and writing are cringe-worthy, but still, overall, it holds up very well.
Xbox One has more Quality games coming while the PS4 is getting a Quantity of Weeaboo crap games that will score up to a 7 or 8
@charizard1605: could you be the only one who makes those threads? Khoof's was awful.
I'm absolutely shocked that you think so.
@blue_hazy_basic: take it from sw's Japan hater of the year 2k15, persona 4 is fantastic. Play the vita version, it's way easier than the original and makes a lot of quality of life improvements. It is a super long, long, long ass game though and the dungeon designs are terrible

What dungeon design
I don't know guys, I think long never changing corridors are the pinnacle of sophisticated dungeon design.
What's new, peasants?
You can be our Conan while the real Conan is busy with life and shit.

No one can take the Big Boss' place.
MGSV teaches us that.
Yoshinori Ono is a Chie man.
Respect.
so he's also a boring person with awful taste in teenage girls? figures
The only choices he was given were between Chie, Kanji, and Teddy... That hardly makes him a Chie man.
Got Eternal Darkness, should be fun.
Also Detective Conan is great so far.
Eternal Darkness is a great survival horror game.
Detective Conan was a good show... But it eventually got repetitive and I just gave up on it.
@mems_1224: She has some songs- I think she has at least three or four. Not as many as I'd have expected, though, yeah.
I just pre-purchased Fire Emblem: Fates :D
And you're going to choose Lunatic Nohr for your first playthrough, symbolizing your unbreakable devotion to your Nohrian husbando/waifu even in the face of insurmountable odds, right? Right!?

Yep. Gonna play all three back to back, going Conquest -> Birthright -> Revelation.
I was thinking of playing Birthright before Conquest, but it seems like Conquest is obviously the better version.
EDIT: Question- will I even enjoy Birthright if I play it after Conquest? Because I've heard Conquest thoroughly clowns Birthright in every way possible.
I've said it before and I'll say it again: IGN HAS to be cashing in on the "Too much water!" meme. They did this with the Peanuts movie and more recently, they did it with Deadpool.

I don't know, a lot of reviewers giving Deadpool some really good reviews as of late and rotten tomatoes have giving it a better rating from what I heard. Deadpool and Zoolander 2 are my 2 movies that I'll be seeing this weekend.
No negative reviews for Deadpool yet makes me really happy (25 tomatoes for it so far). It'll probably be the most original Marvel movie in a while, well aside from the obvious profane jokes, but I love 4th wall breaking characters. It seems like it'll have great humor and action, I mean what else can you ask for (and not like the typical Marvel joke/action). Or maybe it'll be great, but just another Marvel film. Whatever it is, I'll enjoy its edginess and the fact that Ryan Reynolds is in a movie that is perfect for him. :)
I've been playing some Dungeons and Dragons 5e lately. I really, really like it. Thinking of getting the core rulebooks, so I can run full campaigns (so far I've stuck to what was in the starter set).
Anybody else play DnD (or really, any pen and paper RPG)?

I play pathfinder occasionally. Zass has a group he regularly DMs for. You go to a local group or do you have friends that play?

I'm playing it with friends locally, yeah. Cool thing about 5e rules is that it's flexible enough for me to be able to knock it down even if only one party member shows up, for example.
I'll try and find an FLGS, but I doubt I'll find any in my area.

If you're too good, it wouldn't matter if you played Birthright first or last, you'd still be left wanting. If not, by the time you finish Conquest, you will be -- if you manage to finish. Your call as to whether you think you -need- to play Birthright before Conquest.
Personally, the only thing I might enjoy is playing it as a break after Conquest. Also hearing one particular track in context. Otherwise, I'm pretty much fully aware that Birthright isn't for me. It's a fine game by all accounts, but it's meant for newcomers / casual fans of the series and people who care about the Hoshidan family; it doesn't pull the things on the player that Conquest does and will just end up a disappointment if you're expecting it to. I also certainly don't like the Hoshidan family anywhere near as much as I do the Nohrian family.

Awesome, chaz! I've been playing for about 9 years now. Started with D&D 3.5 and I've shifted to a whole bunch of other systems. I did a 5e campaign online for a while from October 2014 - August 2015; can't stand online play but really like the system.
It's such a fantastic hobby though. I've bene resident GM for a while now, currently running the fourth campaign in a series that I've been doing since 2010 (technically the fifth since 2008 but that wasn't directly tied to the story of these past four campaigns.) I could talk a ton about my games. From the streets of Gotham City in a Batman-themed campaign, to facing off against a fanatical mastermind working to bring the god of slaughter unto the world; from taking on an evil snow owl in the Redwall universe, to now stopping an aspect of the fanatical mastermind who is trying to access the gates of heaven.
Typically, these campaigns run for a year at a time, sometimes longer. The Gotham campaign was ten sessions and the Redwall was 3, and I usually run every Sunday evening from 7:00 pm to midnight.
A lot of time spent on the hobby and so many wonderful stories. I actually had an evening with my college D&D group last night and we reminisced on those legendary tales.
And I knew you cared about me, common. <3
