I'm so happy that him becoming a professional wrestler is a thing.

@ConanTheStoner: Honestly I liked it more and more towards the end, the side quests were addictive and were really fun to do (other than occasionally esoteric order of operations). Black Omen was cool too, I thought it was mandatory but it turns out I didn't even have to do that haha
FF6 was gonna be my go-to taking a dump game but I haven't followed up on that yet.
@Bigboi500: Enjoy you deviant :P
Be curious to know what you think of star fox
Some of the levels are of the typical SF64 variety, while others are really unique. The one where you avoid the spotlight beams and use the little hackbot is fantastic for instance. All-range mode takes on a whole new meaning too, where you have to rely on the cockpit view to fulfill objectives and find hidden targets. The controls do take some getting used to, and are akin to a sim in such situations.

Sounds good. Is there a Independence Day rip-off level like the one in N64?
@mmmwksil: If you like Rayman Origins and want to move onto legends, please for the love of god don't do it on a touch driven system like Vita or Wii U. Turns half the game from a platformer to a shitty phone game.
@darkspineslayer:
Well, I didn't like Origins all that much when I tried it back when I got it. Being in the right mood I might be open to finishing it, but I don't think I'll be getting Legends unless Origins surpasses expectations. Heck, I only got Origins because I found it abandoned in a parking lot during Black Friday 2014 madness.
@Blabadon:
Aaru's Awakening looks nice, but I'm not able to spend money at the moment. Origins has been sitting on my shelf for over a year now.
That's a pretty good price for what they usually charge people for a goddamnn controller.
Well at least its a high quality controller.
@Bigboi500: Sounds like a must have if you're a star fox fan, I definitely want to check it out. Wasn't the biggest fan of 64 when it came out but going back to it recently, but it's really good, a classic for sure. Still star fox adventures > 64 though :P

Murphy feels tacked on in the Ps3 and 360 versions. I enjoyed the Wii U controls for the most part, not that Origins isn't better, but it helps change things up. Origins is a contender for best 2D platformer easily
Murphy plays better on an actual gamepad, and I don't know if I would call what Rayman does floaty.
Murphy is a rectal tumor that infects an otherwise fine ass platformer.
Did I get the champ-ism right?
Sure on both account, I'm not saying he's fun. I'm saying of what I played of the WiiU version and when I played it on PC, I had a lot more fun playing on PC with him being a button press. Personally he would be fine if he was used more sparingly, as I like the general pace of the level design a lot more in Legends. Rayman Origins is a fat bitch in comparison, as it has so many fucking levels that just fucking drag. Treasure chest levels being dropped was bullshit though, those levels were ace.

I made the grave mistake of playing on Vita. He's legit every other level.
Hell yeah though, treasure chest levels. The music levels were good, but not nearly good enough of a replacement.

They were more fun as a novelty because of how everything sounded, and of course mariachi Eye of the Tiger, but they didn't hold a candle to the treasure chest levels. But given that Legends recycles origin levels, my reaction is y not both? That weird little soccor mini game the had was fun too, surprisingly.
Urgh, hungover at work after staying out too late watching the draft. Wish I could go back in time and tell myself those last 2 beers weren't necessary :P
WTF I had a dream in which I melee fight three girls with one of them looking like an enormous WWE wrestler lol.
This is the type of dream that a kid watching WWE has lol

Guessing the position switched with Metroid. =D
Nope. Pokemon already did that over two decades ago.
I'm finding less and less of myself coming to SW as of lately and haven't been active here posting as I usually am. What the hell is wrong with me?
Because you're playing tons of video games instead?

No real news lately, probably. May 5th can't get here soon enough.
I remember years ago when May 5th meant AP testing in high school.
horrible days
May 5. Yes. Please.
