Literally nothing is sacred anymore.

@charizard1605:
Cheer up, boss. I'm certain you'll get to play Persona 5 before you retire. That's not so bad, is it?
;_________________;
I've been waiting patiently for Tokyo Mirage Sessions Special Edition to go up on Amazon but nothing yet.
If it ends up being exclusive to GameStop I'll just be getting a standard edition. I refuse to pay those bastards anything anymore.

You'll be fine. Chin up, boyo.
P5 is going to be the ultimate anime video game. I wish this would get a vita release because it's a long JRPG and I'd love to have Persona portable like Golden was.
@mmmwksil: After watching these videos. Do you still want this game?
@GameboyTroy:
I didn't watch all of it because 30 minutes worth of footage but it isn't anything I haven't already seen before either from just glossing it over.
The way you phrase it however makes me wonder if you're seeing something negative in the footage? It's more of how the game is going to look and play and minor details on the mechanics and story. What about it makes you think I'd suddenly not want the game anymore?
Was able to snag a deal on eBay which was the 999 game for only $15.
Makes me glad I haven't touched Virtue's Last Reward since I bought it off the eShop a few days ago. Wouldn't like to have the gaming experience ruined by skipping the first original game.
Playing Super Metroid and Axiom Verge at the same time was a bad idea. Axiom Verge plays like utter garbage by comparison
Very few things really play as well as Super Metroid. Have you played Zero Mission?
Fire Emblem Fates: Conquest is becoming soul-crushing. I'm playing it on hard, casual. It's hard enough as is without the perma-death on. My problem is that at chapter 20 my entire army has become useless and my only effective unit is Xander. Literally, anyone else that goes out dies. Even my PC who was maxed out. I'm on chapter 26 and I'm just getting absolutely destroyed by the mages who do like 26 damage x2. Ughhhhh.. help me! :P

Advice: Git gud. Whoops, sorry, not Dark Souls.
Assuming Ch. 26's southern room on Hard is similar to Lunatic's, I think Xander would beg you to switch to Normal or restart the game. :P Even if he somehow survives the mages, I doubt he could survive -that-.
Not bad Legend, not bad at all. They all look amazing yet again coming from you. Sadly though, as you already know that I'm a Manticore, if only I could see all these cool characters in one sig though.
Okay, I like the characters (could we sub in Ratchet for maybe Drake there? if not, that is fine, too).
I guess make me #TeamPlayTendo
dear god the witcher 3 is amazing and im only 3 hours in
i also got the season pass champ, thanks for the advice :D
That studio made characters in their side shit that are wildly superior to what other "story driven" developers provide in their actual game. How are you building your Geralt?
Super Metroid remains amazing despite the passing years. Makes me want to replay Prime.
I finished DKC Tropical Freeze. On par with Returns, below DKC3 and DKC2. The water stages were annoying, but rocket barrel levels remain the most fun thing ever.
Next up on my Wii U binge is Bayonetta 2. I will also sample Star Fox Zero... eventually.
;_; Can't play DSIII until I get home. Would trade several serial keys to get it on PC.
Anyone interested?
So I decided to play FF IX on steam after hearing so many rabid fanboys over the years sing it's endless praise.
Holy crap is this game a slog. I'm on disk 3 and the pacing has been so bad, when there should be a sense of urgency there is none, when I should feel connected to characters I'm distracted by how painfully bad the writing is. Zidane is just unlikeable, honestly I'd rather take emo Squall over I have to save people because it's the right thing to do and the side characters aren't much better, Vivi is probably the deepest of the lot and by far the most interesting part of the story.
Let's start with Freya for badly written characters, Rat girl is absolutely infatuated with a knight that disappeared to protect the world, she apparently was child hood friends with Zidane and that's all you need to know, oh also she speaks even more olde english than the fucking king of Burmecia for some reason. Oh also said Knight that she can't get over was traveling with the rat prince the entire time which so happened to be posing as a peasant for whatever reason, conveniently the dude also can't remember Freya.
Then there's Quina, a he/she Frog/clown/chef creature that can't stop eating. It's only motivation for following the main cast around is to eat more and more food, you can't get much more shallow than this. It's kind of funny how the game outright makes fun of this glutinous beast for being such a shitty character.
Steiner, this guys just lazy. Sworn to protect the princess and apparently the only knight of pluto that actually gives a damn about anything. He eventually comes around but he's just as stiff as he ever was.
Garnett AKA Dagger, my second favorite next to Vivi. She's been through some shit atleast and has some character growth.
The other characters aside from Vivi aren't really worth mentioning, not for their outright badness but just for how bland they are.
Then there's the shitty card game and I do mean shitty, Triple Triad from FF8 was atleast fun. The stealing also sucks. For a thief Zidane is pretty awful.
Haven't really made much of an Opinion of Kuja aside from the dude wears a thong.
Also being forced to change equipment to learn new skills doesn't really add anything to the gameplay, it's just an extra hoop you have to jump through. Also not being able to see what skills are offered on weapons or armor at stores really kind of sucks. You end up just buying 1 of everything.
This games just nowhere near the quality of 7 or even 8. The amount of recycled locations is also pretty shit, the game just feels overall smaller is scope as well. I'm honestly kind of disappointed I was hoping this was going to be a better game than this.
Vivi is the best character.
Also got to play DS3 finally after hanging out in the lobby.;_;
Yeah, finding out about his backstory is pretty much the only thing pushing me forward with ix.
Captain Toad having the ability to ply 3D World levels in CT's gameplay (if you have a save file for SM3DW)... that is freaking awesome. In fact, why Nintendo didn't do a dual game bundle with 3D World and Captain Toad is pretty questionable.
back from the hospital ;_;
f*ck kidney stones

i've always tried to keep it in this order with these games:
Sword > Signs > Alchemy
i know i should invest more on alchemy, after all, that's what being a witcher is all about, potions and sh*t...
but the signs are just too fun man, TOO fun :P
That first boss in Dark Souls III is an sob if you're playing as a thief. Played as a knight and its easy but thief its like you have to get so much closer and you don't take hits well.
;_;
I've never played thief before though.
