Why did you buy the PS3? was it to play PS3 games or was it because you were so eager and couldn't wait to play those amazing PS2 and PS1 games that were already been released? what if PS3 only had BC with no PS3 games on it? would you have bought it or not? how many PS1 and PS2 games did you play on your PS3? was it more than PS3 games ? was it less? 

Did you ever post your most wanted PS3 games list including PS1 and PS2 games in the mix? you don't list them with PS3 you dumb fvck.

Now figure how to answer these questions for the next several hours without spinning like a 24".

No it doesn't, the console's quality is based on the games that are released on that console and features, BC makes it more attractive to purchase but doesn't make it a better console automatically, if that console doesn't offer appealing original content that can't be played on the predecessor then it doesn't have a reason to be released.

BC is just a plus, it is not an essential part of any console.
