IGN video review was crap IMO, I have seen a better fan made one on youtube.Kotaku Review
Grand Theft Auto IV Review: Life, Liberty City And The Pursuit Of Happiness
Note: Kotaku does not give out scores. They say what they loved and hated about it.
"Played single player campaign to completion on PlayStation 3, played additional single player campaign portions on Xbox 360 and tested each online multi-player mode on Xbox 360. Total game progress on first completion was 65.67%, with 94 missions completed over the course of 35 hours."

I haven't pre-ordered something since Halo 2 . A huge game like this you can get everywhere on the first day.
I think Ocarina of Time is about to be dethroned as the best game ever on Game Rankings.nikolajz1
Agreed, will the GS review be up today?
http://kotaku.com/384422/which-version-of-gta-iv-should-you-buy-we-compare-the-ps3-and-360-versions
looks like the 360 has the better framerate according to kotaku, but the ps3 has less pop-up due to the install :)

"The good news for Grand Theft Auto fans is that whatever platform you have chosen as your own, GTA IV excels on both. They are almost evenly matched, feature for feature. Gamers will have to decide which is more important to them, a slightly more technically sound experience on the PlayStation 3 or downloadable content and Xbox Live integration on the Xbox 360."
im alot more comfortable with XBL and 360's controller...so xbox live integration or less pop in? :(
this game is overrated *Runs*mingo123
tell me all about on tuesday - when everyone is playing it non-stop
[QUOTE="numba1234"]the sticky is doing nothing :D.. mingo123
wait till GS review is out haha half of SW will be suspended
Only half? I could see 3/4 of SW getting suspende. I can really see SW going up in flames if GTA 4 gets a 10, or a 8.5.

i dunno, what do you prefer - more fluid animations and action during intense periods, or having textures pre-load before you enter an area? one comes at the expense of fps according to kotaku.
i personally can live with some pop-in. i just wish they gave 360 players the option to install to hdd.

I'll party it up here alone..man id be pissed if it got any less than 9.5. A 9.0 means this and pdz are equal lol. F that, that game is terrible. It should get a 10 but 9.5 would also be acceptable.
I'm actually a little disappointed
according to the gametrailers review, the game's difficulty has been very noticeably reduced from what it was it past games. that kinda bugs me...i have fond memories of some crazy frustratingly hard missions in the past
I couldn't even get to vegas because of the difficulty. That is why I thought the DLC would be useless, the game was kind of, impossible.I'm actually a little disappointed

From the Kotaku review:
"Some Missions Are Maddening: Of the 155 missions I attempted, 64 ended in failure. That's fine, but some seem impossible on the first attempt and others come close to resulting in thrown controllers. Missions are quick to restart, but by your third or fourth attempt of The Snow Storm, you may be looking for a Rockstar dev online to kill. There's not much in the way of mission filler, but some jobs are definitely more memorable than others."

well...only one thing left to do....wait till tuesday!!!
eh they said framerate was the same, the only difference was xbox 360 had more AA (which is the opposite according to 1up), now to the videos soon.http://kotaku.com/384422/which-version-of-gta-iv-should-you-buy-we-compare-the-ps3-and-360-versions

This is most likely due to combat not being completely terrible. Being able to actually take cover and aim properly helps, although according to the Kotaku review there are missions that are frustratingly difficult.
