Some ppl in these forums really need to step back, take a minute to look themselves in the mirror and re-evaluate their lives. I mean seriously.

On topic now i never really played the first one (only like the first two chapters or so) and don't intend to do so with the second. They're just not my kind of thing. But kudos to those who loved it and are finally getting a sequel. It was a higly acclaimed game afterall and with a good reason i guess.

This and a remastered Crash, this is a good day for gamers!!!

Narrative, story and pacing is what i'm looking for, i just hope they create more meaningful cool down moments, not some easy recycled puzzles like moving a ladder or sth ...and also, a better AI.

Exclusives are not the only factor in competition hence the continuing existence of it.

@dynamitecop: Standalone or not it is DLC for Uncharted 4 the same way Left Behind was DLC for TLOU. Cry more. Ask Uncle Phil to do better if he can.

What? Quantum Break has been released and Crackdown supposedly next year. Are you going to pretend that most of what Sony has shown is not either CG or very very early gameplay of their games? To be hyped about any Sony sponsored game is to waste your time getting excited especially if you are looking for gameplay. But if you prefer waiting and using the controller only to progress the cutscene, then I can understand the excitement.

TLOU falls into the category of being genuinely overrated, just like Uncharted 4. The amount of phantom praises these games get is amazing and it makes me wonder if people actually played said games. I am still debating whether the fanatics for these games are on the same level as Half Life 2 fanatics.

After my discussion with Reduc where he admitted to not playing Uncharted 4 yet argued about my criticism of the game on multiple occasions, I think "phantom praise" is definitely one of the right phrases, I'd put that right next to bandwagoning.

I feel as if people who have never actually touched these games just sing praises surrounding them to further bolster the platform and nothing more, to use it as a means of bragging.

I guess I really wasted money. My PS4 has been begging for attention since Uncharted 4. Ooops my bad, the waste of money supposed to be the Xbox One. Oh, well I haven't used it in a few hours. I guess that counts. I now remembered, I recently powered on my PS4 to play No Man's Sky to see if it was as bad as it was claimed to be and unfortunately it was. So, I have used my PS4 and it was to play the floppiest game that I have had the displeasure of playing on the system.

You should try playing games on your PS4. But I guess you play most of your games on Youtube.

TLoU deserves all the praise it gets, HL2 as well. Can't comment on UC4 cause I haven't played it yet but I'll go out on a limb and say it probably deserves its praise as well seeing that UC 1-3 were all excellent.
