Whose sh!ttign themselves?
Its a video game about infected people with mushroomheads, you know what, whatever man :P
bash away, hack to peices, because no one in real life ever survives falls or anything
Zaibach
People in the game get absolutely mutilated from shots and metals bars to the face. Not only that but they die(apparently)from getting faces slammed into tables, the main dude even limps away from getting shot or beat up and has to bandage his arm. But a 30 foot fall is a cake walk for him.he falls and grimaces, sure, but that's it. He just gets up and swims it off and acts like it was nothing to the girl.
Like I keep saying, it felt out of place and is worrying me for the rest of the game with how many of these over the top sequences might be in there. And you obviously care more than you let on because you were quick to pounce a few times already
Sigh, ok.
Watch the video again, the man didnt fall 30 feet, thats an exageration on your part, and when bounced in the water it is clear that he is holding his shoulder in agony. He didnt just get up and walk away. He is submerged in water and the majority of hi sbody is obscured by it.
Looool, I pounced on you? :Plook here, ever since the game was announced and subsequently with every video or footage shown its the same BS chantinmg from the regular anti Uncharted fans all the time. Spewing the same nonesense at the slightest provocation. Instead of having to put up with the same A.B.Us over and over agian, I merely asked what was wrong an elevator falling? is it unheard of in the real world?
your opinion is your opinion and if youre worried, well I am not qualified to help, I just wanted to know why its absurd for a disused elevator with parts of it submerged in water to break off.... but nevermind, I am the attacker.
Maybe I misread you but you just sounded like the aforementioned chanting dissidents against any other kind of gameplay mechanic that has even a semblence of cinematic approach.
God forbid that every game isnt a sprawling open sandbox adventure where you can stop and take a p!ss on a burning homeless man when ever you please, because a game where you cant do that is an Uncharted clone......
and you wouldnt want to have a QTE movie that plays itself now would you?
P.S
I do care, never said I didnt :P
I just dont care for these drawn out arguments about the right way to make games with forum posters.
I don't hate uncharted, I think the games are fantastic. Except 3, that was a let down but U2 is one of the best games I've played. Don't start assuming things.
And I am not exaggerating with the height, he falls really far when the elevator goes down. And when he looks back up at the girl she's way higher than him, the camera just zooms in so it seems less. And the parts underwater (which the main elevator isn't in) wouldn't have affected it. If those broke the elevator would be hanging on the cables it's braked on.
Anyway I don't care anymore, I posted a whole comment on it and the elevator thing was a passing comment on what I had seen. It didn't change my overall perspective of the entire video and make me hate the game or anything. I just said something that stood out to me and all you guys blew it out of proportion. I'm not a hater, I was a bit when it was announced but after all these videos and articles about it the game sounds terrific.
I never said it had to be open world, and it is semi-sandbox as is because you can tackle things any way you want. and I never said it was a clone of uncharted, just that part reminded me of the over the top stuff in uncharted. Im also not telling them how they should make a game. Im just commenting on what I saw. If anything you're the one exaggerating things here and making me out to be something Im not
