I'm so tempted to watch this footage but I'm going to resist. I want to experience the game fully and be surprised, these videos ruin that a little for me.

The game looks damn promising. I do feel some sections seem a bit scripted, and I'm not convinced the melee stuff is anything other than lame quicktime events, but hopefully that won't be the case.

As for the frame rate, yeah, it's terrible. This game could seriously use 60 FPS.

For those that love the cinematic linear experience I'm sure it will be a fun ride for a few hours. Game looks very nice.blue_hazy_basic

Normally I'm not this pessimistic but my opinion is leaning towards this.

Looks really good. The enemy AI is one of the best, it seems. Although, there was a part the enemy looked right at Ellie and just acted like she didn't exist. I guess that's how they make her not a bother :p

I call 'em like I see 'em. This looks fantastic. A lot of console games are praise worhty, IMHO. I've gone on record begging for Red Dead, happy to get Dark Souls, etc, etc.

Game looks great, not sure why anyone would be jelly though, you can pick up a PS3 for next to nothing from the market or cash converters if you really want to play it. I may buy it but ill wait and see how the reviews go, it looks like a much better version of I am Alive, which isnt really a bad thing IMO.

Graphics look pretty mediocre, i think Crysis 2 on console looks a lot better, does everyone have their PS3 fanboy goggles on or something? animations are nice tho, of course since it's ND, ill most likely pick it up day one since Versus 13 is never coming out, i might as well use the damn PS3 sometime.

Am intrigued about the plot though... I guess i'll have to wait and find out.

TLOU impresses again, 2013 just can't come soon enough.

They're jelly, its funny, they pirate hundreds of games yet beg for more nonstop, they're insatiable.

My god it looks amazing, was pretty hyped for it but wow that PAX Demo really brought it up a level.

Looks nice, it'll be a good game. Hopefully the hype surrounding it doesn't make the game fall short like Uncharted 3 did.

As for this one, the new demo is ALOT better than the E3 one. Didn't look insanely scripted like the E3 demo did.

We shall see how it turns out. It being Naughty Dog they very well could ruin the games very good premise....

i really like his sidekick. she's a very well done character. shes kinda like clementine from the walking dead in that you actually feel attached to her and want to protect her. most npc sidekicks are annoying and uselessmems_1224

Yeah she isn't irritating like alot of side-kicks are.

Considering how awful and irritating Carl is on the Walking Dead Show, it is amazing how much better Clementine is in the games. She is honestly the most well-done child character I think I have ever seen. Really love those Walking Dead episodes!

But yeah, Ellie is looking to be a good sidekick thank God. Would be awful to have an Ai-partner who is irritating...

Looks boring. Probably a game you'd play only once. Perhaps devs should spend more money into making the gameplay better instead of wasting it entirely on visuals and cinematics.

I don't think you understand what just happened. This game is giving us intense, non scripted, small skirmishes with intellegent ai. It makes for some very intense, exciting, and dynamic gameplay. They aren't sending hordes of enimies at you like many other tps. Gameplay is really what this game is all about.

Could not agree with you more there. I am sure I am not alone in saying that Telltale has actually made us care about protecting her incredibly well. I don't even recall any other developer doing such a well done job with a young-in :P

the gfx is just too damn good for consoles

The amount of health you lose for not checking corners and/or allowing yourself to get flanked makes even one enemy running around a decent threat.

The game is heavily scripted..... how ever your actions determine which scripted scene you get and how the game starts to play out. The're's a couple of scripted scenes probably for every enemy you encounter. Just because it's scripted doesn't mean it's not good... Deus Ex was really scripted and it was the best game last year.

It goes beyond just video games. I honestly have not seen a child character done as well as Clementine. I am someone who HATES children but I really do are for Clementine and I LOVE that she doesn't sit there getting into trouble constantly. She actually has a brain in her head that she uses and that is a nice relief considering how stupid kid characters tend to be.
