I was about to come in here and totally, absolutely, lose it. But then I saw you're just comparing the GS scores in which case:
Lol.
Well Skyward Sword is heavily based off Phantom Hourglass in a lot of ways, so due to the lack of originality, it makes sense that... aww nevermind, it's easier to say **** gamespot. :P
I'm currently very much enjoying Skyward Sword more than Phantom Hourglass. You know what they say: 7.5 8 9... or something like that.
The only reason I liked Skyward sword was because it featured my favorite incarnation of Link. The gamrplay was really not that good, and it really did not live up to wind waker. Bring back wind waker link in a proper handheld zelda imo.
I finished PH and enjoyed every moment of it.
I haven't played Spirit Tracks or SS. But I enjoyed it more than Zelda TP that's for sure.
So I kinda agree with PH > TP.

Console games are not compared to hand held games. It's probably the best hand held zelda this gen. But whatever...keep doing this score comparison thing if it makes you feel better. Bread_or_DecideAlright alright...

Anyone who has played the games and isn't a robot that blindly follows GS reviews can tell you that SS is clearly better. But go ahead and keep spouting "Hurr derr 7.5 derp" console...handheld...console...handheld...console...handheld....Even by handheld Zelda standards Phantom hourglass sucked :|
Way to show that once again, you know nothing about the franchise

What's your point? that GS reviews aren't the be all end all indicator of quality outside of the metagame pissing contest :| Then why were people so upset when it scored a 7.5 here? People care about these numbers way more than they should.

Oh right because they flopped your precious Zelda. The damage control is never ending.

It was my favorite game of its release year. I'm 50-60 hours into Twilight Princess and it is one of the best games I have EVER played. I'm convinced that reviewers didn't bother to finish the game, because I'll admit it starts off slow--but that ends up adding to the scope of the game. I think it may have the best music of any zelda, as well.
***but SUPER LOL to 8.5 for SPirit Tracks vs 7.5 for Skyward Sword. Spirit Tracks has a lot of design issues.

I think anyone who has played both can see that Skyward is leagues above both DS games.Spirit Tracks got a 8.5 which I felt was the WORST of the zelda games. This is why I cant take gamespot as a serious site fueled-systemThis is why I don't take Nintendo fanboys seriously. They think a score compares one game to every other game regardless of platform.

There were some serious design flaws with both DS games, far worse than any of the "filler" found in Skyward Sword.

Yeah, I agree. It wasn't the touch screen aspect either, as I thought Phantom Hourglass was great. ST was very restrictive. There wasn't any illusion of adventure because you could not physically go anywhere--look but do not touch. It is an average game at best. I do like the dungeons and the music was great.
Actually, I really liked Phantom Hourglass.
For me it's:
Phantom Hourglass > Twilight Princess > Spirit Tracks
Haven't played enough of Skyward Sword to make a valid opinion of it.
For me it's Celda since I only got around to playing it this gen on Wii and turns out to be mah favorite Zelda and in need of a sequel based around the big blue - loved that sailing dontchaknow. :P

Thank goodness you don't review games for a living.
I prefer Spirit Tracks, is such a charming game even with its flaws.
TP was great, really great, definitely the best Zelda this gen...although it could change once i finished Zelda SS.

Thank goodness you don't review games for a living. I never said anything like that dipsh**. I expect the core design of the game to actually measure up. Link's awakening, a game made on the 8-bit gameboy, was actually comparable to Link to the past on the SNES quality wise.

People made a big deal of PH having a dungeon you had to re-visit, but there were checkpoints you never had to start from the beginning, it really wasn't as bad as some people made it out to be.
