Dunno about all this but I tell ya what, a Zelda sequel in the form of a WW2 on the U would likely have me buying a U at the moment the game became available. :shock: well, maybe I would still wait for a price drop or a WW2 pack-in. :P

except a few months ago System Wars was just drooling all over The 1080p Dolphin Images.

that or the new Zelda game is going to take so long for it to come out (at this point i say it might come out next year), so this will keep people busy until then

isn't that obvious? Nintendo is very greedy. Lazy ports of zelda oot and starfox 64 for the 3ds at full $39.99. Unbelievable that Nintendo fanboys are rejoicing at being abused again. They just cannot wait to spend $59.99 for a port (that won't even be scaled to true HD resolution) of a game that launched at $49.99 a decade ago. On other systems, ports like this would cost 10-15 bucks at most. runbleduck

Yeah I know, I was never a fan of WindWaker or it's artstyle, but with the amount of people who drool over it I guess it's a logical decision to make from nintendo's POV.

Own the WiiU...and I am not excited at all. One of my least favorite Zelda's tbh. Hated sailing around on the ship. Quite tedious and boring. But I'm sure many fans of this game will be excited.

it's my personal 2nd favorite Zelda (1st is MM) so i'm super stoked

i understand where you're coming from though on the sailing....i personally found it relaxing just because the game was so gorgeous...it does get SUPER tedious though when findind the triforce pieces

but i'm hoping with the gamepad you can go phantom hourglass with it and just draw your sail route out and it just auto pilots the ship for you....i think that could work even with having a wind mechanic that PH didn't have

Looks a bit too bloomy for my taste but I can't rightfully judge the graphics from these ultra-compressed screens.

It's good to hear they are remaking there classics but I'd also like to see a F-Zero GX remake in enhanced, HD graphics and with online play.

Looking forward to the new Zelda too.

I think it says a lot when people get more excited for a Zelda or Star Fox remake than any other Sony game remake.

Also, if there's enough new content (besides improved visuals and updated controls), it could sell for a full price and still be worth it. (of course I wouldn't mind if it was cheaper)

Should remake Twilight Princess. Just started playing it on the GameCube, the atmospheres stunning, it's like OoT on an amplifier. I'm glad it doesn't have voice acting, I think it would ruin it a bit. Imagine TLoZ: TP on current gen tech.

Good lord, it was glorious. This Nintendo Direct would easily win E3 for me if it was any other year.

I nearly lost during the presentation. So many great announcements and an HD remake of one of my favorite games only made it better.
