The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker U coming this fall.

Should remake Twilight Princess. Just started playing it on the GameCube, the atmospheres stunning, it's like OoT on an amplifier. I'm glad it doesn't have voice acting, I think it would ruin it a bit. Imagine TLoZ: TP on current gen tech.

Good lord, it was glorious. This Nintendo Direct would easily win E3 for me if it was any other year.

I nearly lost during the presentation. So many great announcements and an HD remake of one of my favorite games only made it better.

isn't that obvious? Nintendo is very greedy. Lazy ports of zelda oot and starfox 64 for the 3ds at full $39.99. Unbelievable that Nintendo fanboys are rejoicing at being abused again. They just cannot wait to spend $59.99 for a port (that won't even be scaled to true HD resolution) of a game that launched at $49.99 a decade ago. Just bought the gamecube version and am really enjoying it, doubt I'd upgrade to a Wii U version after I beat it though..

if they make the tri force part less anoying then ill pick it up. Game was good.

Well it's "galaxy 3" in that it's a 3D Mario from EAD Tokyo, probably something entirely new though.

It doesn't look like an animated cartoon, they've changed it into a pixar movie

I actually enjoyed TP more then WW and the look they were going for would better suit a remake then WW since cell shaded games tend to still hold up longer in the looks department.

Not a big fan of remakes especially with this type of game. The whole point of the game is setting out on a new grand adventure. When you have already played the game the adventure is neither new or grand. That being said I would be somewhat happy if the remake included the cut dungeons from the original.

Interesting, but over priced for something I can pick up for the Gamecube for $10 at any used game store. Yeah I know the graphics are better, but are they $50 better? Of course not.

I may pick it up when the price drops (if it ever does, being Nintendo first party and all) and if I ever buy a Wii-U.

I'd say this is more of an HD remake where what we've been getting mostly before are HD ports.

The visuals have been entirely reworked in this game whereas most HD collections simply just up the resolution.

Nintendo also announced they were fine tuning the gameplay which could mean that they are adding in two dungeons that were cut from the final game in order to meet a deadline, make the sailing parts less tedious, and speed up any and all inventory work like in Ocarina of Time 3D by moving all of it to the touch screen. Hell, sailing will instantly be improved by being able to have your map and treasure charts on the bottom screen update in real time while you sail around instead of having to pause the game to look at all of that.

Sure lol. Looks nice though, but I wouldn't buy it after beating it 3 times already. Maybe now people will see how its the best Zelda's out of the bunch.
