No price? Damn. Guess I'll have to keep an eye on the preorder pages.
I was like, where's my Nintendo 3D platformer? And Bananza is just that! Holy shit!
Wasn't expecting Bloodborne 2 to be a Switch 2 exclusive! 🤔
So a bunch of games I already logged hundreds of hours in? That's the big announcements? Haha. I'm going to buy it. ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
@R4gn4r0k: Hopefully they find a way because it would be difficult to go back
Yup, UE 5 games kinda require it :/
Though there have been insanely optimized games:
Avowed and Empire of Ants are well optimized UE5
Metro Exodus and Cyberpunk are well optimized Ray traced games
So $70 + $10 ....for PS4 graphics?
Nintendo fans sure love overpaying for stuff.
But a new DK is definitely intriguing.
There weren't a ton of new game announcements, but it looks like the Switch 2 has a really stacked first year. Certainly tons to play, unlike...any other previous Nintendo platform at launch, really.
Gamecube had Luigi's Mansion and Wave race, why you dissin?
Sony wouldn’t get behind a Bloodborne 2 so Nintendo going to do it with a spiritual successor is hilarious. 🤣😂

I'm kinda surprised and shocked not a single Resident Evil Remake port wasn't present for Switch 2. As for everything else, the Switch 2/Mario Kart World bundle is what I might go for. Disappointing that Nintendo didn't announce the price should have been clear.
I believe Duskbloods may have been the cancelled Bloodborne 2 game FromSoftware wanted to make for the PS5, but the former CEO, Jim Ryan said no. Nintendo took the opportunity to fund it, and they renamed it Duskbloods, like Demon Souls to Dark Souls. I would guess it would be a timed exclusive?
@R4gn4r0k: Funny enough I placed the refund for Amazon last night, gotta wait for UPS to come back and scoop it up 😂😂😂
Donkey Kong, and Mario Kart are day 1. The lack of a price bothers me though. I wonder if Nintendo are still trying to figure something out there.
Yeah they are trying to find a way around American cheeto man
Yup. In a more political way than how I said it :P
Seriously, I need to know how much it costs, so I can plan my budget for other stuff.

Today is tariff day. Let’s see what Big T says at 4PM.

I refunded TLOU PT 2 on PC last night, I really wanted to see it but April is stacked for me:

For me it's always: the cheaper the console, the more I can spend on games.

yeah me too, even more surprised SF6 was the Capcom title, RE seemed like more of the expected, i would have even expected monster hunter world/icebourne before SF6
I'd get one once they announce more and better 1st party titles, but the duskbloods is making me wanna get one. But it's not due till 2026
$450 according to this article. 500 for the onr bundled with mario kart
If it's 450, I called it!
Not even going to take the Joy Cons out of the plastic they come in. They'll go straight to Ebay!
What do you mean? You mean you're gonna use the Switch pro controller exclusively?

Yes. I can't stand the Joy Cons.
Gonna head to my local GameStop today and ask them about pre-orders.

I too will be skipping TLOU2 and will get it somewhere in Winter 2025. The game looks like it'll have problems on launch after looking at the specs. Will wait for patches when it's finally fixed. Days Gone Remaster? That game already looks good on PC as it is if you ask me. Love that game btw. South of Midnight is indeed the game I'm looking forward to.

Bleh, I'll use the Tax money I got back and so far, word on the street is saying it'll be $500 for the bundle. I rarely care about tariffs and if it's something I want, I'm gonna get it.
The joycons look horrible for long usage as a mouse. Watch nintendo sell an accessory that will make it look like a mouse for better ergonomics.
@Archangel3371: Well Bloodborne is the GOAT! No denying people are excited whenever anything could maybe possibly be tangentially related to it!
The visuals look better than the Xbox Series S, because the Switch 2 can do 4K, and Metroid Prime 4 Beyond has 4K 60 FPS! Something a lot of devs struggle to do with this gen
$449.99 stand alone, $499.99 w/Mario Kart World bundled
I kinda suspected $450 on SolidGame's thread isn't too surprising even though I said $400. I couldn't careless if the tariffs will be affected or not. Not everything will be hit by it.
Will go pre-order the bundle at GameStop, hopefully the bundle will include a physical copy as I still cannot trust Nintendo handling online games.

Hallelujah, get rid of those carpel tunnel traps.
@davillain: Solid plan!
So one that caught my eye is that in the last Steam sale all the Sony games were on sale except for one:
Days Gone
This leads me to believe the PC game will get an upgrade in some way and I'm absolutely down for another playthrough if they add say DLSS and increased draw distance to that game.

Xbox Series and base PS5 both use FSR for upscaling;
Switch 2 will be using DLSS, for all we know it's rendering internally at 720p.
