Honest question. I personally can't tell through all the blur and chromatic aberrations.

Do they also sprint in cutscenes all the time?
They don't. Doesn't stop it from looking excellent though.

I see. I guess, the sprinting thing was just a poor excuse then.

No, it was me pointing out the vasts amounts of blur due to the character sprinting.

Still doesn't explain the cutscene.
Yeah, it does look amazing... Like Ryse: Son of Rome does. Still, there's something about this type of artwork that doesn't enamour me much. I much prefer the eyecandy of, say, Journey. I really appreciate highly realistic graphics and can see their value, but I just can't help but love artwork that fills me with wonder. Next up on that list is No Man's Sky.
Still doesn't explain the cutscene.
Not nearly as blurry in the cutscene. Especially when you play it.
So far, I'm pretty underwhelmed myself. It looks good, but nowhere near as good as people have described.

I guess it's one of those things you really have to pay 60$ to beli..see.
@Snugenz: indeed... 60 strong for such a small amount of entertainment... Just can't do it.
This may sound unfair but I'm also coming off of the exquisite dragon age inquisition, where I just finished the story after 85 hours and with another 80+ hours of more content... All developed at an insanely high level. Not without issues (loot and crafting are a little meh) but pennies on the dollar to play that game....
THE ORDER 1886 or as I like to call it "can you believe we ruined a perfect idea like steam punk king arthur? STEAM PUNK KING ARTHUR!!"
I have to say it looks gorgeous and it takes a special kind of talent to make such an exciting concept so boring and uninteresting.
I guess it's one of those things you really have to pay 60$ to beli..see.
I didn't pay a single dime though.

It can't be the best looking game. Only 800p.

I mean, yeah, that's what happens when you sprint.

That motion blur Crysis 3 suck on PC even on ultra...
Any one can do what you just did in reality Crysis 3 look great on PC so does the Order on PS4.
Honestly, Crysis 3 suffers from the same problem. I hate that stupid chromatic aberration they use everywhere. At least in Crysis 3 it's because of the suit visor. In The Order I don't really know why they did it.

It's not 800p
It may be confusing when the black bars are thrown in but this is what the case is.
Ryse runs at a resolution of 1600x900 (which maintains an HDTV's aspect ratio of 1.78:1 - or 16:9). The Order: 1886 will be presented at 1920x800 (which is the CINEMATIC aspect ratio of 2.40:1). At this aspect ratio, you would need a screen resolution of 2592x1080 to avoid the black bars.

It doesn't make it 1080p either. Automatically disqualifies it for any graphics king. (cow thinking).........

you don't even understand what's 800p. Just look at your own console and its exclusive 792p, do you see a graphical difference between this so called 800p and X1 792p/720p titles? The order looks better than anything released or announced on X1. Wouldn't surprise me if The Order was completely impossible on X1.

You sound exactly like lems defending how their was no difference. Pathetic. Funny how the roles have reversed.
Speculate all you want. I think The Order: 1885/10 would run fine on THE ONE.
It all is about art style and not resolution. The case I tried to make many times before. If a cow saw a great looking Xbox ONE game they would simply get jealous and dismiss it because of it only being 900p (Ryse). So you see the point I was trying to make?
I am playing it and it does look very impressive....I mean sure they had to lower the resolution and drop the framerate to a cinematic level but still looks great. The game is a fucking bore so far though. Cut scene...walk to a door and cut scene again lol. At least Ryse was a violent spectacle.

game is shit but 1- its not 800p as you and others are saying. 2- it looks impressive for any standard. So don't try with your blurry Ryse damage control. Ryse's cutscenes look good ON PC/1080p, on xbone and its 900p it has nothing on The order visuals. If there's one game that looks truly next gen, its The Order, a 5/10 game.

Lets see. No. No. and......................No.
The Oder looks good. Even great. Still 800p and out of the running.
It seems Homeworld Remasteed looks atheistically better by a large margin; while requiring a less powerful machine to achieve it.

I'm in the middle of playing the order, and i just don't see how its impressive. the film grain they put on it makes everything look blurry, the use the old blur out everything they don't want you to focus on Hollywood trick, the lighting is just bad in dark areas and compiled with the film grain makes the good look bad sometimes. there are some times where it looks really impressive, but while playing overall, it doesn't look nearly as good as the screenshots. not to mention circling the camera around your character usually looks poor as well. cut scene models look very different, which is why they seem to always show the back of your character before transitioning from cut scene to control so it's not as noticeable. Most of the good looking screens come from scripted moments. especially the lycans, they don't look good at all in action
@FoxbatAlpha: nope. The Order outclasses everything on X1, its like one gen ahead at this point.
It's like a film, but it's a game, without game-play, making it even more like a film.
In many ways: it's the penultimate cinematic experience.

GTFO. You find one person that talks it up on Youtube. There are 832 other reviews out there that say otherwise and pretty much the complete opposite. You are starting to look silly defending this game at this point. Let it go.
As far as being a gen ahead??????????? At what? The graphics? No. The gameplay? **** no. The story. ROFLMMFAO.
