Marginally more powerful hardware that presents a minor graphical disparity, better exclusive lineup? That's very preferential and opinion based but the Xbox One has had an objectively stronger overall lineup, The Order most certainly did the PlayStation 4 no favors in that regard. In regards to everything else the Xbox One has more to offer, more features, more advanced functionality and media features, more applications, it's updated more often and adding in new things all the time, it's going to seamlessly integrate with Windows 10 soon and offer DirectX 12...

I mean it's got a lot more on the horizon and Microsoft is doing more with it, Sony seems to have gotten very lazy this generation, they're quite stagnant with their platforms development and because of that their system is nothing special, it just plays games with no flair of any kind, it's bare bones.. In 2005/2006 this would be acceptable but not in 2015, people expect more out of their products, they need to do more, they need to be more useful.

@nyadc: It's lineup is 95% the same. I enjoyed the Order. Guess what ..... Other people did too. The PS4 and X1 are both solid consoles I wouldn't consider either a joke.

@MonsieurX: I do too, and it has many I enjoy. I care about sales as much as I care about review scores. Which is not at all. But nothing objectively about the system would be considered a joke when it's as successful as it is.

It is a joke considering the high sales and the poor games currently offering. Devs should be all over it,specially because of the sales

@MonsieurX: Devs are all over it, it has pretty much every multiplatform title available. Nothing is going to stay exclusive unless Sony owns the studio and IP due to how similar it is to develop for the X1 and PC.

Oh look, a thread bashing The Order. If you deny that the Order is an amazing looking game, you are a fanboy. Pure and simple. You can say it's linear and thats why yada yada, but it doesnt change the fact the game is one of the best looking next gen games so far.

As a 20 year PC gamer I can say without a shadow of a doubt that it's a game which uses a lot of smoke and mirror effects to fool your eyes into seeing what appears to be a good looking game. The reality however is that the game is using visual effects, filters and blurring elements to mask its inadequacies. It's not a horrible looking game, however it's not great either, not when you have the knowledge and understanding behind it looking the way it does.

@nyadc: lol I have the knowledge, but I think it's ridiculous to deny the game LOOKS amazing. I'm not saying it's a technical beast, but using these eyes that have seen many games in my day.... The Order is one the best looking I've ever seen.

So it's a multiplat machine that gets 2nd or 3rd place versions......yeesh.

Apparently PS4 is shit compared to PC.

Seeing people complain about the order being blurry and then posting ryse pics with the blurry post AA turned on is somewhat amusing.

looks average at best and play horrible at the same time.

The post AA is not actually that bad compared to other game's post AA.

I've tried turning it off and using 1.5xSSAA and notice very little difference in clarity between the two.

There is some blur but not as bad as I am used to seeing when FXAA is used in other games and it's no where near as bad as The Order 1886.

It's probably because I play at 1440p.

tl;dw: "Cinematic" is a scamtastic term used to mask shit graphics.

I've always thought Jim can be a fairly eloquent speaker, which matches his style. Unfortunately he spoils it all with far too much swearing, which doesn't match his style.

I think his point would come over much better without the expletives. Angry Joe on the other hand needs the swearing. it suits him far better.
