Oh, totally. The only thing that has me worried, as far as reviews go, is that it'll actually do well. Considering the Black 2 and White 2 reviews, though, that thought seems unjustified.

Then again, maybe I'm just blind. I mean one of the things that excited me the most, after I accidentally, read it was how the movement works between the slide-pad and D-pad. To be honest though I wish I hadn't read it, I often find design/gameplay/music spoilers far worse than story spoilers, and that would have made an amazing thing to experience first hand initially, as simple as it is-- to me anyway, but again, maybe I'm blinded.

I was going to get the limited 3DS's but the rumored black one does not exist so forget that.

They might sell well on Ebay at somepoin though HMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM :)

I have no idea what version to get. Usually, I'd get the version in accordance to what colour I like IRL. But I have no real opinion on what letter I like better. :C

It's funny, I preordered X because of that "F'n Majestic" meme last week. Glad that Charizard X has validated my decision.

Well I would think the exclusives would make that decision for you unless its a easy sale for both sides.

For me though I've decided Y from the very beginning. I never go back on my gut feeling when Pokemon is concerned no matter what so I got no conflict. :P

I'm going Fennekin and Charmander, only using Fennekin though, I also don't know how to spell it. Chespin/Squirtle would be my second choice.

I'm actually really happy about the score. Gen V had a 7 and a 6.5, which were undeserved and incompetently reviewed, so at least it didn't continue to fall. A 7 would have been disappointing and a 9 would be fantastic, but too far gone.

I can't wait for the game though, and now I'm back to my spoiler blackout. :P

I won't read the full review until I familiarize myself with the game first. For example, I want to find out about "super training" first hand.

Looking at "The Good" and "The Bad" though, I have a feeling I won't take favor with the review.

1. Less grind than in previous games: I don't remember having to grind in Pokemon to get through, outside of Soul Silver. Especially in Black and Black 2! Also, this is a review of this game, not a comparison to the previous entries.

2. Less challenging than previous games: Same thing, they weren't really all that difficult, a lot of the time they were moderate. Even their last Pokemon review said that it wasn't hard, I doubt it got much easier, we'll see.

3. Same core experience means same core frustration: Again with the series overview, I'll have to read the review to see what frustrations he is talking about, I'll get back to it when I've had my copy for a few days.

4. The hundreds of Pokemon look great: I don't know what this one means, could somebody clarify if he means graphics or design?

The rest seems fine, of course my opinions on these may change after I've played the game and read the full review. Even if I end up not liking it, the reasoning seems more founded than the last Pokemon review.

Overall, so far, not bad Gamespot. Not bad.

Fennekin's is basically what I expected.

Froakie's tongue scarf and sharp edges are horrible and Chespin looks like a mech that can't bend its limbs. :lol:

What? Why does everybody hate Chespin's second form? I liked it it screamed defense, I mean he was a ball, a sturdy looking one, that is some fine design if you ask me-- assuming that defense is his thing, but since you guys said his final form is a mech-type deal, I'm willing to bet it is. If Fennekin weren't so great I'd pick Chespin. Screw Froakie.

All of the final evos BLOW and hard. Never seen worse final evos in all of Pokemon History. Stickin with Team Fennekin though...

That ghost-tree pokemon looks like something I want.
