Amazon has been right every month this gen except for December 2013 and September 2015 I believe.
They were right about Xbone Slim in July and August too. WiiU has never been ahead of PS4 or Xbone for any month since they both launched.

Amazon has being a barometer for almost all NPD since both consoles launch,if there have being 2 or 3 NPD were the PS4 was the top selling console on amazon and the xbox one won is too many.
Almost every month the winner of NPD also wins on amazon,there is no indication whatsoever that sales only on amazon are pro PS4 and not in other places.

I do not know what is more hilarious the great facebook posts Microsoft is doing or how much more you can get on the $100 cheaper Xbox S that you can not on the $100 more PS Pro.
I find it funny that the console that has a hard time producing 1080p games is somehow considered the go to 4K console (Xbox One S) .... because it can play 4K Blu-Rays. Yes, the PS4 Pro not having UHD Blu-Ray definitely dumb but at least every game will actually be 1080p -> 4K with 30 -> 60fps. Ex. Rise of the Tomb Raider can run at 4k 30fps or 1080p 45+fps on PS4 Pro). I for one am pretty excited to replay through Uncharted 4 at 4K w/ HDR.
The Xbox One S isn't a match against the PS4 Pro this fall when it comes to gaming quality. Heck, the Xbox One S doesn't even match the PS4 when it comes to gaming. Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Watch Dogs 2, Dishonored 2, Final Fantasy 15, Deus Ex: Mankind Divided, FIFA 17, Titanfall 2, Battlefield 1 etc. will have vastly better visuals on PS4 Pro than the Xbox One S. And so will most games from now until forever.
I think it's too early to factor in Scorpio at the moment. All we know is that it'll be more powerful than PS4 Pro (to what extent is actually not well known) and will play all your Xbox One games.

It doesn't matter how innocuous it is, it will win their console war. UHD BDR is this year's NXE/DX12/Play Anywhere/Limited Backwards Compatibility. It will win the war.
Hell, the war has been won five times already with all these war winning features. I'm not using Amazon to predict long term success, the PS4 doesn't need Amazon sales to know if it will sell well during the holidays. It always sells well, the PS4 is already a successful console. Using the WiiU's preorder hype to compare to the PS4's preorder hype is laughable at best. The two situations aren't similar at all.

@navyguy21: ah, now on presales, there is one indicator and one indicator only that will tells us anything. When a product actually ships out and registers in the Top 100 for the year, THAT is an indicator of demand.
It appears Neo demand is very high, but I won't gauge much from the initial reaction. Where the Pro is on the charts two weeks from now will definitely give us the story. Where it winds up in November will paint a very clear picture.
Jokes about power aside, you all have to admit: a console TWICE as powerful as a PS4 (PS4 already looks quite good with games like Witcher, Uncharted 4, and Infamous) with 4k capabilities at only 400 dollars is an incredible deal. Everyone calling PRO a failure seems to forget the Scorpio will easily cost $600-700 at an ABSOLUTE minimum. And the PRO will benefit from powerhouse exclusives like Last of Us 2, God of War, Horizon, Beyond Human, and more that are ONLY on PS not like Xbox where they share ALL games with PC. Multiplats will be noticeable superior on Scorpio but ALL multiplats, 95 percent of Scorpio games, will be playable on PRO for half the price of the console and it will still have capable or close enough performance even though its weaker. PS PRO also benefits from by far the lowest cost of entry into VR and the playstation 4's dominating market share. If you honestly think Scorpio at double the price will outsell PRO, you do not understand the general consumer and economic market
@Fairmonkey: I'm upset with the Pro because if it had a UHD drive (granted, with Dolby Vision support), it would have pushed me over the edge to get a new tv this year. Instead, I am in gadget hell for another year it seems.

He climbed out of that rabbit hole, left Alice and the Mad Hatter behind and came back to reality. PS4 Pro is a minor upgrade. Not worth getting right now. Next year Sony will be selling it for $299 with 2 games during the holidays. That's when I'll grab one.
