Out of Gears of War 2 and Resistance 2, which game will the reviewers like the most?

Gears of War 2 easily.Yes, I know I express how mundain I think Gearsof War is past graphics, but it has that marketing catch smaller than Halo ...

While Resistance a medoicre FPS sold purely for the reason that it was one of the only good games on the PS3 for a LONG time, much like Perfect Dark Zero's underserved success.

Resistance was not mediocre nor average. I personally enjoyed it a lot more than any FPS this gen with the exception of Half-Life. As for the point about Resistance being the only good shooter on the PS3 for a long time, you can easily say the same thing about Gears. It came at what I would consider the biggest drought in gaming history. People saying Resistance is overrated and not in the same universe as Gears need to wipe the fanboy off their face.

Ghost was banned about a week ago.

Both will be great but you cant really compare then because 1 is a 3rd person shooter and the other is a 1st person shooter.

Now if the topic was Halo 3 vs Resistance 2, then it would be a fair comparison.

Both will get a 9 or 9.5

Pretty much. Resistance competes in the graphics department but it cannot compare when it comes to gameplay and design.

I don't know I think Gears looks better, but the single player game in Resistance is looking good as well. The idea of fighting huge bosses in a shooter is really cool.

As far as online Gears looks like more of the same from what I've read, Insomniac is trying to do something new, also they said there will be squad modes where your squad will be given objectives. So I don't really see how Gears is better. Resistance just looks to offer more in multiplayer.
