There goes The Witcher 2's P.C market :( . PC pirates've no loyalty towards The Witcher 2 . CD Projekt better hurry with console release of The Witcher 2 ( Money , Fame awaits in console market ) :)

Halo 3 and Reach were leaked two weeks before release, Killzone 3 and Portal 2 were one week. All of those games were fully playable from the minute they hit the torrents, unlike The Witcher 2. Say what you want about the overall severity of PC piracy, but the PC is heads and shoulders above consoles in Day 0 piracy.

What jerks. You know something has gone wrong with the world when people can't even understand that something that a huge team spent hours of work and millions of dollars on is not theirs to take for free. Simply unbelievable, it's spread across every medium, movies, music, games, etc. I bet those people wouldn't think pirating was so harmless if they were in a position in which they weren't getting paid for their hard work because of some morons.

The Witcher 2 is pissing me off though... it's coming too soon! I still need to finish the first. I love it but can't find any time to play it, I'm only in Vizima. Come the 17th I'll have TW2 and know that I could be enjoying its visual beauty, less awkward dialogue, and likely improved in every way gameplay, but I'll be going through The Witcher to get a proper feel for the story.

As of right now the pirated version is nothing more than a waste of harddrive space, and looking at popular torrent sites the total number of seeders is around 180. As of right now I doubt this leak will affect sales, we'll see how much it sells once the game releases.

I will probably end up buying this game but there is not legitimate reason for this game to be leaked yet. The only time pirating is ok imo is when there is no demo but you still intend to buy the game, you lose your cd key, or your disk breaks.

Despite the developers efforts to keep the game from pirates, the full game has been leaked online. However, those downloading the game are being shunned by gamers for disrespecting the company's generosity to PC gamers.

It takes a real a****e to pirate a game before it's even released. If you're gonna be a scumbag at least have the courtesy to wait until the game's out.

FFS!! People need to quit being so damn greedy/lazy. Get a **** job and support companies that actually make quality games instead of churning out the same regurgitated mess every year!

I think it will still see well, the devs have been good to PC gamers.

Some people are just worthless scum. anyone who pirates his game is exactly that.

I just pre-ordered another copy for a friend.

Might as well support the dev a little more AND get a birthday present at the same time.

Better than anything since diablo 2 imo. WC3 was ok, but TW was still alot better.

This HookedGamers site has embedded a video containing a download link. Reporting on a game being available to pirate in the first place is kind of poor form. Also it's kind of not news.

Not the worst N4G-spawned happening I've ever experienced, but yeah...these things almost never turn out alright. N4G usage is thus frowned upon.

i dont know much about how this works. How do games get leaked so early? I remember several years ago that i had a friend who worked at a place where they made Xbox games and occasionally borrowed games to borrow out to others, Is this how or is it hacking or a member of the development team?!Dibdibdobdobo

This is not the GOG release though, I'm sure they are expecting enough people to buy it on GOG that the DRM-Free thing won't be a problem. I mean if someone had 0 intention of ever buying it, DRM or not, would not stop them.

While it might be the retailer in the cases of leaks 2 maybe 3 days earlier, when it comes to a week+ earlier, most leaks come from the disc manufacturing plant. Those plants are never owned by publishers.

2. I assume you're talking about the lay-offs at Crytek Budapest? Those lay-offs occured because the responsibility for Codename Kingdoms was taken out of the hands of Budapest and placed in the hands of the main Crytek studio, Crytek Frankfurt. Your sarcastic insinuations that Crytek 2 performing poorly had anything to do with those lay-offs are unfounded and most likely backwards as it makes no sense that Crytek would shift development of a console exclusive from a subsidiary to their main studio if they were in any way hurt by their last effort on consoles.
