Man I was able to hate Crysis 2 graphics and even I can't hate these graphics. How can anyone hate on these graphics, it looks leagues better than a lot of games, and I don't think it's maxed out, but I'll be able to max this baby out.8)

[QUOTE="McStrongfast"]No lie, that looks pretty good. Can't wait til I can afford a new PC capable of such digital devil magic, but I have to. Stupid bills and food.IantheoneFood isnt important. You can go without for a while until you get a new PC Yeah food is pretty useless, you just poop it all out anyway.

[QUOTE="haberman13"][QUOTE="i5750at4Ghz"] You implied in your post that PC gamers find shallow action oriented games less appealing. "Flashy looking games that can be completed in an afternoon with no challenge seem to sell well on console." I simply pointed out that these same games sell well on PC as well.i5750at4Ghz
Maybe, but as a percentage of game-type consoles tend to lean towards his description; where on PC you have 12 million people playing the math simulator that is WoW.
That wouldn't happen on the consoles, the gameplay takes too much understanding of mechanics, which doesn't appeal to the console market which tends to focus on fast action/light depth.
Sure, those games sell on PC, but they don't define the market; I would say the console market is defined by that description.
Are you kiding me. I play WoW heavily. And it's dominated by console owners/lovers. WoW is one of the most casual friendly games on PC.Well ... that explains random dungeons of late.

I'm finding the same thing, perhaps would could petition Blizz to put in a console gamer filter in LFG? The amount of clueless players make this a must imo.IF, and at this point, it's still a big IF. IF this game makes it to current gen cosnoles it ain't going to look any where near as good as the PC version.
Do you guys notice anything in those screen shots. Something should jump out at you immediately.
There are plenty of close camera shots of characters and architecture and NOT ONE BLURRY PIXELATED FLAT-LOOKING texture to be seen!
That's 'cause PC isn't limited to 256 MB video buffer and 720p rez.
Bioware, eat your heart out.
WoW is casual friendly because of it's interface and intuitive mechanics. It's an example of how to build a great game that can be played by the broadest of audiences.
Anyway here's the video of the scene with that screenshot:

Witcher2 has great graphics, but I'm not going to miss out on the action - I'm buying both games.
Agree, but left rope on first pic. Also tesselation?IF, and at this point, it's still a big IF. IF this game makes it to current gen cosnoles it ain't going to look any where near as good as the PC version.

Oh that looks so much better then the first game. I bought the first game when it was super cheap on steam but i haven't been able to get into it. None the less i'm super excited for witcher 2! Hopefully i'll find time before mid may to let myself get into witcher 1.
Anyone else planning on picking up that crazy(and crazy expensive) collectors edition!
The first one is really slow to begin with, but it gets much better half way in. I thought the first one was just pretty good, nothing special. Some people were going crazy over it just because it was from a new developer.Oh that looks so much better then the first game. The Witcher 2 looks better, but Dragon Age 2 will be a far better game.

Really? I thought they turned Dragon Age to into a button mash, kinda like Gauntlet but without the multiplayer.
The Witcher 2 actually is a button masher. DA II can still be played traditionally.[QUOTE="tenaka2"]

Yeah, well hes unfortunately wrong, if he saw the video where the witcher fought a boss that turned into tornados and constantly changed its strategy, not something you could button mash through.[QUOTE="tenaka2"]

WoW is casual friendly while you are leveling ... when you play the "real" game (pvp/raiding/heroic dungeons) if you don't understand stats/rotations/counters you will fail hard.
WoW is the opposite of a casual friendly game, unless you are leveling. As far as MMOs go, yes it is "casualized". On console it would be the equivalent of an advanced calculus game.
The Witcher 1 played on hard is the same way, you NEED to use alchemy, and understand the impact of stats. On console that wouldn't fly except for a minority of users.
Looks incredible. Hopefully consoles will look close to that since they did say there would be no significant difference.
They probably mean based off its lowest capabilities, no console game looks close to that, so I doubt there would be such a big jump. I mean some games look pretty damn good on consoles, but none of them are big open multi-path RPGs.Looks incredible. Hopefully consoles will look close to that since they did say there would be no significant difference.

Did you see those screens that were posted after the initial batch, or at the neogaf link that had more stuff? It had a lot more of the over the shoulder gameplay shots, all of which looked way better than the gameplay shot posted in the thread.Looks incredible. Hopefully consoles will look close to that since they did say there would be no significant difference.

And console gamers think this will be out on the lolsoles.

Ooohhh, I see. It's a play on words. That's a truly funny observation...such a knee slapper.
...
Anywho, the game looks gorgeous, even if I won't max it. Can't wait to play it.
This game is the new graphics king.aaronmullan
No kidding. Dem visuals!:shock::shock: Great graphics further increased by top design. Low budget devs > big name studios? :P
