IMHO, the 360 is there for those of us that don't like the keyboard in gaming. I really don't use the PC unless I'm playing Starcraft (Still one of the best games out there so don't think I hate the PC).

The 360 is there for those of us who love great looking games that are long but we don't want to spend 1000 a year, just to play al the games next year.

You might want to look into what that 'E' stands for.

You can't say "Oh the best 360 games are on the PC so there's no point in even making the 360", because the PC isn't a console. It's an entirely different category.

There's a lot of us that just prefer to play games on consoles. Bottom line. You can sit there all day and say "Yeah but the PC... yeah but you can do this to the PC.... yeah but it's not really that expensive to keep upgrading your PC...." but the simple fact is I prefer to sit on my couch, in my living room, controller in hand, playing games on my TV. It's been that way since I was a kid playing the 2600 and the NES, and it's what I'm comfortable with. There's a hell of a lot of people out there like me too.

Hell, by your reasoning you might as well just say that there's no point for having consoles at all because everything that's done on consoles can be done on the PC. People have even mapped the Wiimote to the PC. So why even make consoles at all?

Why? Because people like gaming on consoles. I can also go into all the crap about software/hardware conflicts and the problems you can run into with PC gaming, but I won't even bother because that's not even the point. The point is, I like gaming on consoles and not a PC.

You can't say "Oh the best 360 games are on the PC so there's no point in even making the 360", because the PC isn't a console. It's an entirely different category.

He's saying that they don't need to make the 360 because you can play the games on the PC. I'm saying that there's a whole lot of people that prefer to play on consoles and THAT is why his argument does not fly.

We need xbox, without it, games like bioshock,gears,ninja gaiden,halo,condemned, and others wouldnt exist. and ive had so much fun with these titles, not having the xbox, would suck, just like never having the playstation would have sucked.

because they were games supported by microsoft to challenge playstation and nitendo. If xbox never existed, less compitition, less games.

a good example is xbox live, without it, psn would never exist, the only reason they made it was to challenge microsofts xbox live.

So because the 360 is a microsoft product, and they obviously tied the system in with PC gaming, its now a bad thing

the PC does get some of the exclusive titles that come to the 360, but they don't get alot of the multiplats between the 360 and Ps3

so if you want the best, you get the 360, it has halo, gears, ect ect, and all the awesomeness of multiplats like burnout and GTA, ect ect

it is the best console for gaming right now, no question

Last time I checked the prices haven't changed from PS1 and N64 era, with just two consoles they'd still be the same.

I really see no point for the 360 either, the only reason it exists is because MS wanted a slice of the gaming pie, they had the money to do so and in they came, buying up exclusives, charging customers for silly things like wireless adaptors, a function thats free in the DS for crying out loud. The exclusives they have would have been done on the PS2 or Gamecube and the PS3 or Wii if it never came about.

It was just a remark to his comment above, if the only reason HE has a 360 is to play online, then why own it when you can play the same games on PC or the other 2 consoles free...

to answer your question, no they shouldnt be pulled just for that, there are many reasons why out of the 3 the 360 should be pulled but more so then none they are just opinion based

as for AA all 3 combined have well over 56 exclusives....360 has 9...
