Often times, it is not in the interests of 3rd party developers to say the PS3 is a more poweful console because they don't want to offend the larger 360 install base. That would be like biting the hands that feed you. Times may have changed now as the PS3 keeps producing graphics kings after graphics kings. I applaud Two Worlds 2's develolper Reality Pump Studios for stating what is obvious for most but the passionate few:
"You can see the game itself is a little tailored towards each platform, obviously," he said. "For example, the PC and the PS3, just based on the nature of the machines, have a little bit more power when it comes to graphical fidelity and things like that. So we're able to ramp it up a little higher."
I think we should end the graphics/console power debate already. The PS3 has won. Those of you who still think the 360 is equal to the PS3, please consider, as I had written in another thread, the following:
We can all have our own opinions and reasons. The facts, however, favor those who believe the PS3 is a more powerful console. The professionals who say the PS3 is more powerful have given us Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, and God of War 3, etc., with more to come. The professionals who claim the 360 is equal to the PS3, have produced nothing--NOTHING in 5 years!--that equals to the PS3's best.
