LOL wtf is this BS? Now you're just taking things out of the god forsaken context TC. You have so many different kinds of buffers in the rendering pipe before your final frame is compiled and rendered. You have lighting, shadow, particle buffer but the Opaque buffer or commonly known as the geometry buffer, which is the majority or foundation of the entire frame, this buffer isthe buffer DF and NXgamer to look for in order to count the pixels. And UC4 does it at native 1920 x 1080 progress any time all the time. Its shadow buffer however does not necessarily render at full 1080p, it may well use a frame reconstruction or re projection technique thus explaining the dithering or lower res. It can not be stressed any more that every god damn game renders some element at sub native res, not even a titan X can handle rendering every passes at native res, that luxury belongs to Pixar's rendering farm, ILM's vault. Just like what NXgamer has reaffirmed, the game renders at native 1080p in its primary geometry buffer.
You are so pathetic TC you don't understand shit about how all this works, you're simply pissed QB is rendering a peasant 720p+ while UC4 is in full 1080p glory. The result is immediately present, just compare UC4 to any other 1080p games and you'll see they're all 1:1 pixel mapped, no upscaling , no blurriness, all 2073600 pixels of them no less.
