If games with no multiplayer like Bioshock can get AAA here, then it would be quite sad if they cannot give AAA to Uncharted, which is twice the game that Bioshock is. I love Bioshock, do not get me wrong, but it has nothing on the quality and excitment of Uncharted.

Bioshock got AAA and it was 10-12 hours. And didn't everyone decided to agree that GS's review of Bioshock was right?They're both singleplayer only games and Bioshock proved that if the singleplayer is quality, then you don't need multiplayer. We need to be more positive than that. There is no point crying if we say we expect them to give an 8.5 when we really think it deserves a 9.0 or above. Then they will just give it an 8.5 coz they think that is what most ppl believe it is worth.

Ofcourse we all know that this game deserves AAA status and therefore at least 9.0

We shouldn't be afraid of having our expectations blown just because it is more likely that gamespot will give a ps3 game a low score like rachet and clank.

Fact is and it's clearly demonstrated by the other big name review sites that Uncharted kicks ass and easily deserves a 9.0 score. It's tripple AAA all the way. If gamespot give it any lower then they will face the same or bigger backlash as their rachet and clank review. Fair enough that the rachet and clank review was that guys opinion. But thing is that if that opinion does not match up with what most OTHER gamers experience, then it isn't really assisting a gamer in knowing if the game is worth purchasing or not.

Gamespot should also look at other scores given to other games on the platform when making a decision on the score to give a game. Like someone mentioned earlier. IGN gave a poor review to heavenly sword. They gave it 7/10. Now more recently they gave 6.7 to a game like Conan. Now I'm no expert reviewer but Heavenly Sword is going to be a heck of a lot better than conan and for it to just get 0.3 points difference between it and Conan illustrates there are some BIG problems with the way people review games.

Lets hope Gamespot exercise some common sense and do a fair review for uncharted.

In the end, their reputation is at stake. All the money they make from banner adverts on their website will count for nothing if they hurt their reader demographic.

I played it and it deserves a 9.5. I'm serious.

But I also think that it will score very low here. I'm also serious about that too.

I got the full game and WOW! :D The game is so much fun and it's great. I've been playing for over five hours and I'm on the 10th(?) level. So far, the A.I. is brilliant, gunplay is fun, and the story is getting a lot more interesting than that I thought.

The only complaints I have with the game are the grenade controls and the jetski mission but other than that, it should definitly score a 8.5 to 9.0 here.

The hidden treasure will take some time to find (right now I have 14) and most of the medals aren't easy considering the A.I.'s thoughness. By finding a certian amount of medals, you get a medal and by getting other medals, you can unlock skins like Donut Drake or Sullivan.

Uncharted is so much fun and makes me happy that I own a PS3. Thanks Naughty Dog. :)

I think it should be able to make its AA hype easy, if GS gives it lower the 8 then wtf? this game makes ps3 owners happy they bought the ps3

Can't blame them. The A.I. is super smart most of the times. :P Maybe they're playing it on Hard or Crushing. :lol:

The game's only 8 hours, how long can it take to get out a review? I really wish the GS's reviews would come out BEFORE the big blockbuster games. As a consumer, it would be good to know what I'm buying. PapaJohn24

actually the game is 15 hours the first play through...if you skip all the cut scenes,allready know all the puzzles,are very good at it, and are playing it on easy it should be 8 hours

Long becuase they are having a hard time trying to find something bad about the game.

With R&C, they could just call it an "identity crisis." Uncharted is good and it should get a higher score.

No, nor did I say that I believe it doesn't deserve a AAA score. I'm simply saying that, judging by it's gamerankings average, it's chances of getting AAA don't look favorable. But why does that matter anyway, isn't it hyped AA?

They're so blown away by this game, having such a hard time what they could list in "The Bad" category, that they have given in to it's greatness. They're waiting until Monday to drop the megaton, a "prime" 10 rating for Uncharted. And thus causing a massive explosion on the forums.

Imagine if that really happened?
