Unpopular opnions thread

I found Dante's Inferno much more enjoyable than God of War 3. It didn't have the graphics, but i thought it topped it in difficulty, atmosphere, theme, and story telling.

before either game came out, and being the fanboy that i was back then, i was blatantly hating on Dante's Inferno.

If i had not played through, and beaten the dissapointment that was God of War 3 i would have called my self insane to even buy the GOW ripoff let alone give a positive comment about it.

i won't give a longer rant but let's just say robot Minos < snake/squid/demon Minos

and one more thing before fanboys get mad :P

GTA4 Deserved its 10.

The Wii is the best console.

Uncharted 2 was terrible.

Super Meat Boy deserves a 7/10

Resident Evil 4 was decent at best

Xenogears was a terrible game. As was Bioshock. As was every Halo game barring 1 and ODST for different reasons. As was Uncharted. And Zelda OoT was crap compared to the superior Link to the Past.

platformers are an archaic genrea that should die
nintendo game's stopped being fun when i turned 15
japenese role playing games are vastly inferior to western

some of the most fun i've had gaming was on Call of Duty

Bioshock was a terrible game. I don't remember enough of the story to comment on it, but the game itself was a stinking pile of *bleep bleep bleep*.

Twilight princess is the best in the series and N64 Golden Eye sucks hard.

Well those are the threads I hate^

- I thought Risen was a better game and rpg then Demon Souls the year they both came out.

- Gothic 3 was better rpg then Oblivion, alot less popular but having owned both Ive had way more fun with Gothic3.

- Alpha Protocol, Shadowrun and Too Human are this gens most underrated games

- I liked Bioshock2 more then the first one

- Old World Blues DLC for New Vegas is better then 80% of full games from this year and last year

- Kameo is one of the best looking console games

- Mafia 2 >> GTA IV

Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is the best Zelda.

Half-Life 2 is overrated with some parts stretching on to far and the boring weaponry.

The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion is a good game.

Call of Duty: Black Ops is the best Call of Duty so far.

Halo: Combat Evolved is overrated.

Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time isn't the best Zelda, Majora's Mask and A Link to the Past beats it.

Bioshock is overrated and boring.

Halo 3 is the best Halo game.

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Rebpublic II: The Sith Lords is better than Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic.

Quake was the start of id's stagnation in videogame design with them making the same game over and over again.

Torchlight II would be better than Diablo III.

GTA IV is a excellent game in all respects.

Playing a FPS with a gamepad feels like dislocating my elbow.

Well that's about it, I'm pretty sure some of these would be disagreed on.

Tomb Raider is better than Uncharted.

3DS is the best handheld on the market.

Wii is better than Xbox360

Super Mario Galaxy is a well polished series with great graphics, great music, great presentation, and a good variety of gameplay, and I would recommend it for pretty much everyone...

The game was boring as all hell. It was easier than doing dishes, the galaxies are not original at all, the hub in 1 and non-hub in 2 were just awful, awful. The extra levels are just, there, they are a waste of space, why not just include them as they're own galaxies? What you think we're going to have trouble getting infinite star bits to pay for them? They copy pasted Galaxies in Galaxy 1(Bee level, and Space ship level), how can they get away with that and then come out with Galaxy 2 and say "oh we had all this extra content that we could have added so we are making another game" Then why did you re use levels!? And it's Super Mario GALAXY!! where are all the Galaxy levels, its Super Mario 64 but on a floating rock and you can go upside down every once in a while. Where are the crazy gas planets, and going through Saturn like rings and more of those Space Junk Galaxy like levels, instead...a floating toy box...where you can go upside down every once in a while.

Loved both KOTOR and KOTOR2 but for some reason the second stayed with me longer.

Personally I felt the characters were better and had much interesting dialogue (Kreia having a very grey, nihilistic view of the force and Atton having a seemingly cocky attitude but underneath it was a lot of self-loathing and turmoil) as well as the building up of Revan's character as an enigma, mystery and Gray Jedi with interesting motives rather than the typical council view of Black & White.

Nintendo games honestly bore me to death....

except for Pokemon.

I know its really simple, and hasn't changed much since Pokemon Blue, but damn I still love it.

It doesn't matter who thinks what system is better, as long as everyone can have fun.

RDR is anything but a masterpeice, let alone GOTY material. Also, Majora's Mask is the best game ever... yes, even better than Ocarina.

Heavy Rain's story is B-rated movie quality at best.

God of War 3's graphics aren't anything special.

Vanilla Crysis doesn't look like anything special, graphicly, anymore.

Killzone's Multiplayer is boring.

Resitance 2 is far superior to Fall of Man.

Far Cry 2 is a great game.

Crysis was ok, but not a masterpiece at all, its popularity is only because how good it looks.

Bayonetta is better than DMC3 and NGB, however not by much.

Super Mario Galaxy is the best game i have played in recent years.

Again, I can agree. Midgar is the most interesting part of the game entirely, and it's only the first few hours. Only good thing after leaving is the Main Theme on the world map, but that's hardly worth the rest of the meh game.
