Well the year is pretty much over. Lets discuss GOTY 2012

Borderlands 2 would get my vote. I've more than gotten my moneys worth out of that game.

Hitman was good also, but to me just has no replay value. Black Ops 2 sucked, Diablo 3 was good, just not that good, and I haven't played Silent Hill. Although judging by other Silent Hill games it really isn't GOTY material.

Why isn't Halo 4 on that list? It should be. One of the best games released this year.

I havent played it yet but I know for me it will be Far Cry 3.

Why the hell is Silent Hill Downpour in the poll..? :S

So far, Hitman Absolution. Sleeping Dogs and Dishonored are both very good though and I have yet to play Far Cry 3. Diablo 3, Ghost Recon Future Soldier and Assassins Creed 3 are big disappointments for me.

Can't really say since I don't think I've played many games that came out this year.

You are gonna catch some hate for not listing Halo4.

Here at GS it might be between Dishonored and FarCry 3 (depending on the score of course), ME3 also has a good chance.

For me it's going to be Xenoblade Chronicles.

Mass Effect 3 has the worst ending in storytelling.

Doesn't stop the whole game being good though. Not saying it's the best game this year but to say the ending ruined the whole game is a bit much, which a lot of people are saying. I was enjoying myself until those last 15 mins

Also @Adobe, ACIII doesn't deserve GOTY, the game isn't half as good as it tries to make itself seem.
