Well thankfully enough the posts have gotten on topic:) I do think Sony has done a great job at putting exclusives on their system as of late. I think that's the only thing saving them at this point because without them, they just wouldn't have anything to fight MS with. "Hey gamers, look at all the games we have on our system that xbox doesn't, and we also have all the games they do as well!!!" Of course, Nintendo's strength IS their first party lineup. When Nintendo starts bringing out the heavy hitters, I think the Wii U will be ok. I think Nintendo bringing out another New Super Mario Brothers after having released similar games on their other platforms was a mistake. They should have brought out a true system seller to launch with.

One thing is for sure, Uncharted was a whole lot more open then Gears of War was! If anything, a movie "game" like Gears of War was on rails. Uncharted had some big open levels with lots of vertalicaty to it, which added to the depth of the gameplay, and gave more variety to to gunplay in Uncharted
Gears of War is one of the most barebones, most basic, most restrictive, and most repetitive shooters out there You are literally doing nothing in a Gears game but going to one piece of cover, popping out for a shot, then going to the next piece of cover, and repeating the same thing over and over again until add nasuem occurs Plus the controls are so unresponsive, clunky, and tank like It literally is a chore just to control! So not only does Gears of War have awful, generic, repetitive, and restrictive barebones gunplay/gameplay BUT Gears also tries to be a story driven game, yet fails even worse at that The stories are horrendous, poorly done, and the dialogue is just cringe worthy There are so many cut scenes in Gears where you get complete control taken away from you too. You are FORCED to sit and watch cut scenes in Gears, mind you, the cut scenes are awful too. Gears is literal garbage through and through. Its a "game" built on cliches after cliches as well. I have never played a more boring and more restrictive shooter in my life IMO Gears is the single most over rated big budget game of all time, Halo is a runner up
Haha Gears has so many things wrong with it, that I forgot to talk about its aweful art direction Gears literally is nothing but graphics, and even its graphics arent the best. Uncharted is vastly superior to Gears in ever single way On a scale of gaming delight, Uncharted is a 5 star cuisine steak, while by comparison, Gears is a big mac Once you have played Uncharted, I dont see how you can go back to Gears, when Gears is so much more basic, barebones; has worse graphics, MUCH worse stories, worse gameplay - and when at the end of the day, Uncharted gives you far more gameplay and interactive control then Gears could ever hope. I.e In Gears you get control taken away fron you and you are FOCRED to WATCH a cut scene. In Uncharted you PLAY the cut scene Every Gears game is like a blur of barebones, restricted, and repetitive shooting Nothing really ever stands out etc....its just all so mundane. ... Where as every Uncharted games has had spectacular and jaw dropping game play segments and or levels which have defined this generation (Uncharted has such smooth, fluid, and fun diverse gameplay. It all fits, flows, and works well with the type of game it is too!) Microsoft always put out cookie cutter games which do the bare minimum, and which are really lackluster to be honest (Halo now is just as bad as Gears is too) Where as PS3 exclusives have beein shinning gems through out this whole generation
This will be a 3 part series, Im going to tell you why Uncharted has some of the best gameplay of any third person shooter out there, Unlike the Playstation/Uncharted haters, I will actually back up my claims with legitimate reasons! I present to you ladies and gentleman exhibit 1: Look at the way you can freely move upon the environment, from the ground or from atop vertically You can take the high ground at any time to get the drop on ememies Or you can sneak around and stealth kill Etc etc etc Now here is that same segment but played differently, By the way, look at how smooth and responsive everything is too. You can approach enemies how ever way you want to in levels like that, and in many other levels in Uncharted etc Uncharted has very sand box like gameplay in those instances. You can stay ground level or go atop vertically, stealth or go all out rambo in style. Uncharted has always had some of the best PURE gameplay of any TPS (especially part 2 and 3) Halo and Gears could never touch what Uncharted offers up in just that gameplay segment alone, Nor can Gears and Halo get within even a fraction of touching Uncharted's cinematic gameplay , presentation, and story elements etc But wait....... Apparently it was all just an elaborate illusion by Naughty Dog because random xbot trolls on the internet say Uncharted is a QTE movie, is on rails, and has "meh" gameplay So how is this even possible! Damn you Naughty Dog for tricking us into LOVING the gameplay in Uncharted! Bunch of level 100 wizards you are you Naughty Dog!
Exibit 2: That train level is one of the BEST levels i have ever played in gaming, along with the shipyard/pirate level In Uncharted 3, which i will talk about later! Its a shame Naughty Dog doesnt get more respect on forums for what they created with Uncharted! Uncharted is a special series(all the games have been great) and Uncharted especially revolutionized this gen! You cant say the same about any 360 games lol Uncharted IS the most GAMEY of all the cinematic games too. Other cinematic games try to copy Uncharted, but they forget the GAME play focus that Uncharted has always had, While they never are able to strike the perfect gameplay balance that Naughty Dog strikes with Uncharted, let alone, while never even coming close to the cinematics or gameplay scenarios of Uncharted to boot etc

Nope... when the shooting starts, Gears plays and feels far better than Uncharted. The gunplay is simply on a whole other level.
GTFO Gears of War has terrible gun play. Wonky, unresponsive controls etc In Gears it feels like you are controlling a damn semi tank! In Gears its a chore just to control. Uncharted is soooo much more responsive. Its much smoother. In Uncharted the kickback is good, aimimg is smooth, and the cover system is even smoother etc Not to mention that in Gears ALL YOU are doing is repetitive shooting until ad nasuem occurs. Pop shoot pop shoot pop shoot. Gears is ONE OF the most boring and repetitive shooters out there Unchated not only has actual strong gun play, The vertacality of the levels in Uncharted, which the stunning level design encourgares, really adds another dimension to the gun play in Uncharted. Makes it a lot more fun. The options you have in how you can encounter enemies in levels in Uncharted really adds a lot too i.e stealth or go rambo, take the high grounds or stay ground level and out manuver the enemies etc Gears cant compare and is so barebones and restrictive by comparison. Anyway, Its for the reasons i have stated why Uncharted has the best gameplay of any TPS out there. Its really fun bottom line. Some of the best gun battles, and most epic levels on consoles are in levels through out Uncharted 2 and Uncharted 3 etc The Uncharted games are brilliant for what they are - a pulp action like movie in spirit that has great gameplay, memorable characters, and very well told stories! There is nothing like playing an Uncharted game. It is such a blast to play and to experience! Uncharted 2 is one of the greatest games of all time and Uncharted 3 is a top 5 master piece of this gen

What games have revolutionized gaming the way Uncharted has i.e Naughty Dog with Uncharted 2 brought fully playable cinematic action to the forefront(created it really) and it became the first game to really offer up the complete package in terms of having a great everything, great gameplay included, while setting presentation to new heights. Naughty Dog's Uncharted formula has been copied left right and center now, but to no avil. Uncharted is the king! That says it all. What games have created their own sub genre like Uncharted did, while having their formulas copied like Uncharted has? Also, Heavy Rain was a big depature from the norm and was a risk but Sony went with it and let Quantic Dreams do it. Microsoft releases the same old boring Gears/Halo/Forza games year in and year out. Microsoft does the absolute bare minimum in all regards. There are MUCH MUCH better FPS games out there then Halo, MUCH MUCH MUCH better TPS games out there then Gears, and better racers out there then Forza etc M$ would never take the risks, that Sony takes for us and has taken many times. Not even comparable lol. Without Playstation exclusives there would be no current innovation And contrary to stupid forum belief, a majority of Playstation exclusives do have the great gameplay to match And without Sony supporting their developers , taking the risks they have, and encouraging them to be creative and step outside the box, gaming would not be what it currently is -Journey, Swan, Guacameele, Heavy Rain, LittlebigPlanet, Uncharted revolutionizing gaming i.e by CREATING cinematic gaming and being one of the first games to offer the complete package etc All those innovations were brought to you by Sony,their stellar first party studios,and Playstation exclusives What current innovations has any Halo Gears or Forza game made lol? All 360 exclusives do the absolute bare minimum in gameplay and have horrendous poorly told stories etc
So, Uncharted is vastly superior to Gears in every single way. There are NO games on the 360 quite like Uncharted. The closest you can get is Tomb Raider, and Tomb Raider is a B level Uncharted clone lol. Tomb Raider is still also on the PS3 too lol . God of War is one of the best all around hack and slashers out there ... Ratchet A crack in Time is the best action platformer this gen Infamous is THE BEST super hero open world game on consoles Little Big Planet was a highly innovative platformer. Amazing game! StarHawk and Killzone 2 are the best multi player games of this gen! All those playstation games had/have GREAT gameplay! Heavy Rain was a first of its kind when it released. Heavy Rain is the game that the Walking Dead copied from. You seeing the pattern here? Playstation developers set the trends and every one else rushes to COPY Playstation exclusives (Uncharted and Heavy Rain etc) That about says it all.BOOM

The dull and repetitive Tears of War is a borefest of epic magnitude. HaNO 360 "games" havent evolved with the times Etc I can keep going on and on... In fact, Halo and Gears do not even have the right to be called games. Their campaigns are 5 hours of tediem! Just on rails -scripted, overly repetitive, and poorly done shooting segments -one after another until ad nasuem occurs-all wrapped up in horrendous stories

gears is a third parrty exclusive buddy.... Second party. So is Brawl.
Demon's Souls has better gameplay than any Xbox exclusives. SMG probably tops it though because Nintendo had pretty much perfected 3D platforming back with Super Mario 64

Demon's Souls isn't a first party game tho.Sony owns the IP; They might not of developed it but it is still a first party game.
Edit* You would say it was 2nd Party but technically 2nd party doesn't really exist. Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft would just call it first party if the IP is owned by them but the developer is 3rd party.
Nintendo called Sin & Punishment Star Successor 1st Party eventhough Sin & Punishment is developed by Treasure and they are 3rd party.
There were so many awesome moments I loved in Uncharted 2 I could go on & on and end up making a top 30 Uncharted 2 gameplay moments list without breaking a sweat lol! Yep, Uncharted 2 had that many great moments! Naughty Dog managed to do the impossible with Uncharted 3. Uncharted 3 has even more awesome moments then Uncharted 2. Uncharted 2 was literally amazing from begining to end though-just like Uncharted 3 was. Ive beaten Unchated 2 & 3 each three times now, and I loved every second of every playthrough. I cant get enough of Uncharted in fact! Man, I want an Uncharted 4 for the PS4 so badly. I want it so bad it hurts hahaha:) Also for those wondering, I will talk about the greateness of Uncharted 3 later. So stay tuned! What i do what to talk about now is how Uncharted 2 also has some of the best story telling techniques ive ever seen in games. One part in particular!
