Is there a difference in most multiplats? Yes. Does that difference favor the PS4? Yes. Is it an earh-shattering difference, as cows suggest? No.

On a 32" or smaller tv it is hard to notice the difference between 1080P and 900P but anything bigger than 32" and you can see a small difference in clarity and smaller details are easier to notice with 1080P as long as all other things are equal. The bigger the TV the more this is magnified. Ryse is currently very easily one of the best looking next gen games and nothing on consoles "curbstomps Ryse" as you put it.

Difference chart. It doesn't list 900p, but it would overlay the top part of 1080p. Is Digital Trends not worthy enough? How about About.Com, where they say that resolution isn't everything, and some 720p Tvs can look better than 1080p ones? Still not good enough? How about some screen shots from DualShockers.com? I anxiously await where the big difference between the 900p and 1080p images are.

It totally depends on screen size and viewing distance if one can tell the difference between a natively rendered image and a upscaled one especially with 900 vs 1080. At or under 32" and sitting like 5 or 6 feet or further away you are not going to see the difference between a 900p vs 1080p image.

Now on larger screen sizes where the pixel density is much lower each pixel is more important you can see a difference in sharpness and clarity but again you seeing the difference beyond a certain point still plays a role in noticing a 900p upscaled image to 1080.

I never said there was "no difference". What I said was there "isn't a significant difference". If you have to stare at images until you find a difference, then that difference isn't a big deal. Cows make the difference out to be a PS4 vs PS2 experience.

Sorry, but I think you are being disingenuous. I have a 65" sharp aquios, and I really I'd be hard pressed to say which game is 1080p or not when I compare my XB1 with my next door neighbor's PS4. Why do I politely say "you're a liar"? because you just turned cow and said "it's pretty bad". That is simply not true. In fact, my neighbor and I had a hard time trying to see the difference. We did eventually do so; but again - if you gotta starte at the screen to see the difference, it's not much of a difference.

Claimed Forza H 2 on 360 and Xbox One are the same. When I pointed out they different resolutions he still claimed they looked the same.

Sorry, but there is just not that noticeable of a difference between 900p and 1080p when looking at a TV. You'd probably see a big difference if it were a PC monitor, but not a TV. I suppose if you had two TVs running the same game (one on a PS4 and one on an XB1), viewed side by side, and the 180p advantage existed, you might be able to see something if you paused the screens and stared at them for a while.

Then again, by nature that experiment ruins the "significant difference" argument, doesn't it?

That chart is a loose guide, nothing more. Don't take anything from that as fact (the resolution chart).
