Whats the better deal? A PS3 and 360 for 600, or a 600 Gaming PC?

I play Crysis maxed out in DX10 1080p with 8xAA, and it doesn't look that great, my eyes start hurting from thinking about how bad it must look with a $600 computer.

Also max out STALKER in DX11 with 4xAA. Not that great looking.

My computer isn't really that much more than $600. This is the game quality I get. It doesn't hurt my eyes any, certainly not when compared to many console games.

A $600 PC can get you pretty good games, but if you lack a monitor, speakers, keyboard, and mouse... you aren't getting a $600 PC.

if you don't already have a computer, obviously go with the PC. It only does everything if you have a computer, i'd go with the 360/PS3 option cause i feel like they're getting better support right now from game companieseyebrowless

It only does nothing in gaming though, since all its games are on consoles, but misses on all console exclusives

Hence why neither were in my list. I put Crysis (as in the 1st) and Crysis Warhead, along with The Witcher (the first) in.

You may only want one game, but there are millions more people who would no doubt want the PC games, just like millions would want the console games.

Personally, I take it all, as I own the consoles and a good gaming PC.

Use a mATX case, or LAN case. It's small and easy to hook up. You could also just leave it permanently hooked up.

Either way, ferret-gamer's post was applicable as it is possible to hook a PC up to a HDTV.

It depends on what types of games you prefer really. I personally would take the PS3/360 together over a gaming PC anyday, i mean i have a gaming PC and i hardly ever play it.

A MS plain white optical mouse n keyboard combo OEM can be had for US $17. There's even another brand with optical mouse, keyboard and speakers for US $15 (all at newegg.com). Just about all LCD TVs have a PC video connector. So, they both work equally on console and PC.

The only advantage the console has is the ability to hook up to an SDTV which is fine with me.

I already posted you a list of games you cannot play on consoles. Your assertion isn't right. You can only play a number of multiplats, however the PC has many, many more exclusives than the consoles.
