Furhtermore, there's nothing wrong with niche titles. Just look at the PS3 with games like Valkyria Chronicles, Demon's Souls, and the Wii with games like Monster Hunter Tri.

Then we can't take you seriously.. "High profile" exclusives are something of the console not the pc.. What consoles consider high profile (which is the next shiniest thing) only happens for the pc every few years.. And its always been that way.

360/Wii or PS3/Wii. If you have to combine two systems, it's better to get the one that doesn't get multiplats but gets more exclusives instead (Wii).

I also gave the scenario that he does have a PC but he is just heavily ignorant.

I mean he thought one of the 5800 series cards was a directx 9 card.

He also said Crysis doesn't look good then goes on to talk about console games.

pc has cheaper games, better graphics, better online and plays practically everything on ps3/360 with it's own exclusves as well (stretching back over 20 years). it's not even close

You can do more with a PC than a console regardless of how well it runs games. Personal tastes aside, it's the best deal.
