the following you can easily tell the game is set to medium settings. even at medium it still looks a hell of a lot better than uncharted.

Model and textures are on the same level as Batman: Arkham Asylum for PC. It looks great, but it isn't even close to be a Crysis killer.

IMO, this looks worse than UC2.

For Crysis to actually look good the shaders need to be on high, or at least some sort of custom High/Medium mix.

No.

UC2 definitely does faces better, and altho Crysis's environments might be technically superior, they're also really samey and boring (think Oblivion), while you see a lot of different colors and variety in UC2's environments. UC2 wins overall IMO.

not necessarily. this crysis pic, though at medium shows that the kpa character has higher resolution texturing (except the shirt). not only on the face but also higher res textures on his hands. the character also contains more polys though the aliasing seems to disguise it.

That's a cutscene. The only detail there is Drake's face.

Crysis is still the best looking game. Uncharted 2 looks good but still its not equal to Crysis.
