Why do people pay for Xbox Live?

With PSN achieving parity with XBL, there really is no reason for Gold subscription fees to exist anymore.

People find value in the service.

Halo is not even that good anymore and the only thing COD really has going for it on the 360 is month early DLC access. These games also tend to sell better because there's nothing else to really buy. When you have no games, the few popular ones sell that much better. What else are they going to buy? Certainly not a new IP we have not seen one of those in three years and that ones not even 100% exclusive.Murderstyle75

Well said. Lems will either ignore this post or respond by trolling. They can't accept that M$ has ripped them off for years all they can do is keep paying and trying to convince themselves they are getting something for their money. M$ is sitting back counting their money and laughing at how stupid their fanboys are who pay for what everyone else gets free. They already raised the price and added ads to it while not adding any extra features or value and lems still defend it.
