Do you release that bf3 on pc have also the option for matchmaking? but the thing is that dedicated servers provide more freedom because you decide on which , map, gameMod, player count, mapRoteison etc you want to play and also you can have you favorite server.

Every game works out of the box, rage on my pc play with 60fps maxsettings and 1920x1200, on the other hand you play rage on your ps3 with 640x720(LOL) up to 1280x720, no AA,low-medium settings, controller, smalls FOV, etc pretty pathetic if you ask me.

judging from your arguments you are hardcore console gamer that refuse to accept that PC is the superior system. So go back and play with 1280x720, 30fps, low settings, no control scheme of your choice, no mods, no dedicated servers, no freedom etc

I'll give that one to you. I don't play GTA IV alot but the thing is, you would hate it a lot more if the mouse controlled the car. Have you ever tried those? It's impossibly annoying, I likethe accuracy of driving with the keyboard but that's just my preference. You win this round. ps (kb/m is more accurate on all things but the gamepad is more smooth. Accuracy is always a bit clunky.)

Please don't jude pc gamers from the guy who started this thread. I loved crysis because it was a great game overall. The eye candy graphics was just a plus. I have never wanted a kinect, 360 controller, or dark souls. Motion controls in general for pc are in the wrong place in my opinion. PC games are amazing, not just because of graphics but because of overall better quality in my opinion. Oh, and when the next consoles come out there will be a great time for pc gamers becase games won't be made for oler consoles, just for the next gen models. And all the devs will have to get used to coding an xbox 720 or a ps4.

I play games because I love playing them. If I don't like a game, I don't play it. No matter what the graphics. It's not that we play games for the graphics, we play games because we like them, and amazing graphics improve the experience in some cases.

Really? Did you just call PC a dying platform? Steam sales have increased %100 annually for the past 7 years. The reason console gamers brag about pc gaming dying is because all the sales they show are retail only. Retail pc gaming is dying, DD is the future.

Exactly my point? All types of people play games these days, on all platforms, its just extremly hilarious that people like to throw around pictures of stereotype fat computer nerds from the mid 90s like thats what people playing on the PC actually look like.

Exactly. I have tons and tons of friends that play mostly consoles, and none of them give 2 **** about the PC. To them, PC = World of Warcraft, and i have friends where you can switch the roles around, that dont care for consoles at all. To them consoles = Tekken and FIFA/Madden

Because it's a good game. It would be a lot cheaper for a PC-only gamer to petition for a port than it would be to buy an entire game console for one game. I already have an Xbox 360 and PS3 and am planning to buy it either way, but I'd still prefer a PC version.

Yea, but it would be a lot harder to get Amnesia on console then Dark Souls. Amnesia was made by a small indie developer. Dark Souls was made by FromSoftware who have been making games from the mid 80's. Though it would be nice to see Amnesia on console, I just don't see it happening unless they get outside support.

It's just like Halo. it was supposed to be Mac-only. If I recall correctly, there were some folks who petitioned it for the PC and Bungie relented.

Of course, that was before MS dropped a bomb and said they bought off Bungie and Halo for its XBox.

In this case, Namco wants to test the PC waters. Ridge Racer: Unbounded coming to the PC is already proof of that. They want to know if there's a demand for Dark Souls. I don't see anything wrong with wanting that game on the PC. The only bad thing I can see is for those who use the game as ammo in this silly console vs PC threads.

I can provide details on why. It will not convince anyone who sits on either side of the fence. Why do PCs have more exclusives. 1) Cost, it is cheaper to develop a game for the PC, why. The technology has been around a lot longer there is more detail information on building games on the PCs and any one can do it if they have a PC with a graphics card in it that is capable of showing the game they want to develop. 2) Time, it takes less time to develop a PC game, because the system specifications have been around for some time, Direct-X is the way to develop it. If Open GL is the way it is being developed them some more lower understanding of the media there. To develop a console you need to pay money to get a dev kit. These already add a substantial cost to the development of the games being developed. The hardware is very specific and therefore it requires different techniques to get the most out of the system. Does the mere fact that there are less exclusives make the console inferior. No. Why, well because the consoles aren't a PC. I have a PC I play games on, they are exclusive to the PC. But I don't enjoy them any more or less than the console games. I have even played versions of the same game on both. I have found the console experience to be more enjoyable than that of the PC. Why, well I have had problems getting a PC game to work, and the older the game the often more hoops you need to jump through to get it working. I can play a console game that is 6 years old on the same console that I had when it came out. It looks the same as it did then. I have tried the same with PC games with mixed results. Pc gaming isn't the elite of gaming, it is just that PC gamers are elitest and believe that anyone not understanding why a PC gaming is superior shouldn't game at all. Well this is my opinion. I am a PC gamer, I am a handheld gamer and a console gamer. I play the game on the device where the experience is the best for me. That includes 1) Graphics - it isn't everything but it is a major deal. Yes my PC games looks better but with the other elements in it, it tends to take a back seat. 2) Audio - I have a great sound systems on both my PC and my consoles. Both THX multi-channel certified and properly aligned to the environment they are in. The best sound tracks I have heard are from the PS3 using DTS, the PC has multi-channel but it isn't the same experience. 3) Controller - This include the keyboard and mouse. To me, the controller is a great way to control games. It is more ergonomic and by far more comfortable. 3) Environment - This is the overall comfort. A nice Highback chair for my PC, a Massive, leather reclier for my consoles. No AC for the PC and AC for the consoles. It is just more comfortable gaming on the consoles.
