It simply took too long for good games to come out for the Wii U. It is Nintendos own fault that people bash the system. I love Nintendo and the Wii U but even i was begining to lose patience. At first i was forgiving, but man, all those apologies and requests for patience grew a little thin.

Ok, now we are past all of that. Pikmin 3 is out now. The next several months are smoking hot for Wii U. So hot in fact that i put off buying a Xbox One simply because i would rather spend $600 on all these fantastic Wii U games. The games are far more important to me than anything Xbox One has to offer.

In fact, i really think the Wii U is a far more interesting system, at this point going forward, than the Xbox One or even PS4.

If you're a NINTENDO fan I don't see how you can be satisfied with the Wii U. Its the biggest disaster since the Virtual Boy and deserves any all ann criticism it gets. Unfortunatel you have these blind defenders and corporate puppets that will lap up everything Nintendo does and what is the result of that? Nintendo will never change nor better themselves because they see all these morons here happy with an overpriced last gen console with a gimmick, no 3rd Party support and hell 1 game in 8 months post launch after the abandonment of the Wii.

I have a pretty steady income at the moment and could easily afford a WiiU if I wanted (heck I can afford 3 if I were desperate)... But it is just the most lackluster system possible. I don't dis it because I can't afford it and try to justify a solo purchase; I dis it because it is a genuinely lackluster system to me!

Colours and price don't enter into it, the system is a dated machine being sold at todays prices with the games that were old 5 years ago. Yes I am generalising the library a little, but my point is there are no WiiU games AT ALL at this point that make me want the system.

Well as much as I love classic-style Rayman (played Origins to death on my Vita), a slightly suprior multiplatform game isn't really going to sway me on it. I don't really know enough about 101 to judge, but from what I know it doesn't look too interesting. 

I'm glad you are liking the WiiU lineup, I genuinely wish I could see in the WiiU what you can.

The reason I defend Nintendo is because they have their game designing priorities far straighter than either of the other two console manufacturers so I buy Nintendo consoles to play their top quality 1st party games. Pretty sure these are different games, Someone made the comment they release the same game over and over again. But they only release these games once every console generation and its what makes Nintendo, Nintendo. Each release of their popular franchises gets 10x better everytime and they listen to the fans. You don't hear people bitching about Resident Evil, Gears of War, Call of Duty games that look EXACTLY the same and add minor miniscule things on the same graphics engine, whereas on Nintendo they use new graphics engines and update everything, they feel like completely different games with each release of mario kart, ssb etc. Whereas if your a COD pro or a gears of war fanatic they feel exactly the same, control the same, look exactly the same..I'm trying to make a point that Xbox and PS franchises ALSO MILK the same characters and titles constantly...Nintendo doesn't release the same game every 6 months if anything Nintendo does it LESS then any of the competitors

A new IP does not automatically make the mechanics of a game new. Most of the new IPs that Sony or Microsoft make aren't as creative or inventive as the sequels Nintendo produces. In fact Nintendo's franchises, some of which have existed for almost 30 years, have become a breath of fresh air in an industry now obsessed with shooter mechanics and grit.

Because there are so many targets to shoot at.
