The WiiU specs are not slightly inferior to the xbox one and ps4.It's actually a lot weaker than those consoles, but it's stronger than the current gen consoles.

It's okay to bash a console, but just don't create new threads bashing the console like every 5 or 10 minutes.That is when it becomes a problem.This applies for bashing any of the the consoles on SW.

I have the WiiU, PS3, and 360. I am almost 40 so yea the VC for Wii/WiiU is great for me. I have supported the WiiU with game releases, but I am so pissed that Nintendo didn't work with NetherRealm for the Injustice: God's Among Us for dlc. I am alsopissed about no built in DVD play back, but oh we'll. I do like the smart pad and all its functions. Besides Halo and Party Chat the most compelling story to Xbox is the XBLA. But to me for overall features Sony wins hands down. Blu-ray, PS+ smashes Xbox Live Gold. marinevetstl

I never said I was a nintendo only gamer. I quite often say it kind of sucks that I have to buy two systems every generation because I want access to the excellent multiplats out there. I'm just defending the high quality games that Nintendo produces and that there is a great deal of merit in owning a Wii U especially with its line-up this year. Saying I enjoy the products of one company doesn't mean I automatically hate the others. I like the PS3 quite a lot.

What a strange assumption you have made.

P.S. I even said in my post that I'm sticking to companies LIKE Nintendo, Rocksteady, and Platinum (meaning there are more). Also 2 out of the 3 developers I listed develop primarily for the PS3 and 360...

Just played the Wonderful 101 Demo, and it has taken over my game of the year spot. (Dragon's Crown had a short but VERY sweet run). The only game on Ps4/Xbox one that even has me slightly interested so far is project spark, so right now the Wii U is heating up for me, and it will be at least a year after Ps4/One come out that they have much I want so i honestly do not see much of a difference. I suspect most on here will not get a whole lot of Ps4/One games in the first year either. The Bashing really is just boys being boys.

Thie Wii U hasn't even come close to living up to expectations. It has nothing to do with trying to be "cool".
