Why is every single successful AAA Xbox 360 game considered overrated?

because cows have no AAAe to brag about so they bash the 360's. its kind of funny how they can change heart so quickly. they always bash gears but when some random site said there might be a game in the gears universe cows loved gears.shoeman12

Every single one of these games were/are very good and well deserving of the scores they received. Put your personal opinions or fanboy biased attitude aside. They are all AAA and very deserving of it.

People who don't want them to do well will say they're overrated.

However, PD0 WAS overrated, by common opinion. It was a AA game.

Gears of War was definitely a AAA game, despite a heavenly-sword length campaign (which probably angers cows to no end), and its entertaining co-op. It just looked so good and played so well. ...Now that i think of it, there are a lot of parallels between HS and GeOW, good graphics, short campaign, difficulty levels, etc, etc.

Forza 2 was a AAA game, deserved a 9.0, got it.

Halo 3's 9.5 is very high for a game whose singleplayer story seems kinda weak, but I understand it's pretty fun. Its multiplayer deserves a 10 though, so maybe 9.5 is deverved. From what I can see it deserved a 9.0, but i haven't played it, only read the reviews and seen the movies.

Frankly, the xbox is cranking out good games, and while people say that that is because reviewers look upon the console less critically, the fact remains its games are better than those of the PS3 or Wii. that looks to continue through this holiday and the xbox will have a crushing lead against the PS3. Too bad.

so a game that has three parts each scoring over 9.0, is over-rated and your reason for this is.............ummm... yeah...right so basically tons and tons of reviewers were fooled three times in a row and just happened to give halo great scores each time.

ur looking at the overall package, the game isnt overrated in that sense, its overrated in a gameplay sense, its nothing extraordinary and groundbreaking like people deem it to be, its a game designed for casuals and a game designed to be as fun as possible.. halo executes this well

the issue is people brag about halo's status as if its something left to us by a god, people then realize "wait.. xx is better than halo why doesnt it get that sort of praise?" the overrated aspect then comes in.. first person shooters are typically supposed to be competitive, halo fails in that respect compared to other shooters, and on that standard its not as good as the others, its just a game thats good for people that just want to have fun.. theres nothing wrong with that, but there fact of the matter is, if ur looking for some hardcore fps, there are better options than halo

people try to explain this and fanboys go ballistic, theres nothing wrong with the game and what it does.. but theres better in other respects

prime examples being cs, quake, unreal tournament(gow, battlefield, call of duty, wolfenstein, painkiller)-- this isnt to say u cant play halo competitively, u CAN, it just pales in comparison
