Why is every single successful AAA Xbox 360 game considered overrated?

You're basically trying to say that Sny consumers are denying that it's a good game. Meaning that you're telling us what we think.

I, for one, think Halo's a piece of crap--And it is for that reason (among others) that I did not invest in Microsoft consoles. i.e. It's not because of the console that I dislike the game; it's because of the game(s) that I dislike the console.

Dude if you haven't played it then how could you question the rating? That is a waste of forum space even replying about Gears.. the fact is it should have been a 10.. That game beats anything on the PS3 by far!!

Either it should be leveled down or Resistance should get a higher score. A reviewer told me that one of the only reasons Gears got as high a score it did is because of the multiplayer. Resistance has multiplayer and yet it got an 8.6.

Meanwhile, Heavenly Sword gets an absolutely glowing review and yet it recieves a dubious 8.0 score. I was told that the reason for this was because of it's length and lack of multiplayer. This confused me due to Resistance not getting a similar surge in its score despite its just as flattering review. After I pointed this out, they refused to talk about it anymore.

The GS scoring system is screwed up. Either that or it's bias....Or both.

Resistance is worth a 9 tops. I played it and enjoyed it, but it doesn't touch Halo.

Heavenly Sword is a good game. I know I was harsh on you once. I believe it's also atleast a 9 if you can get past its short length.

Gamespot is correct and not biased, but maybe you are.

Um, it's not the lems. These games have all scored AAA. Lems hyped them and they were correct, yet haters still wanna bash. Why can't they just enjoy their damn games and let the lems enjoy theirs?

1) Fanboys could be grasping for straws.

2) Maybe people have different opinions. We've seen quite a few people in this thread say that PDZ was overrated. They're not particularly right. But neither are the ones who say it deserved AAA. Because, again, of opinion. Just like people thinking that the Wii and PS3 are crap and that they don't and won't have good games (actually, people sometimes take opinion too far by calling it fact). It's open for debate.

I dont get why Heavenly Sword was put down on every review because of the lenght and why Gears of War that have a very similar if not exact same lenght is considered theholy grail of shooter (after halo of course).

I realy don't think PDZ belongs there.

And seriously do Halo 3 realy deserves a 9 in graphics ?.. it's not even HD and from what I've seen the character animations are realy not that impressive for all the hype it got.

Gears of War had online and it was very fun.

PDZ does belong because it is AAA, despite the love/hate relationship people have with it.

Yes, I don't care if it is native 640p. I upscale it to 1080p and it looks gorgeous all except for some of the character models and that's where I'd take a point off.

differnce between a lemming hype and a cow hype= lemms hype games like halo, cows get lair.....nuff said.

the only reason that lemms hype everyone of theregames is because each one delivers, they cant help it if they are too good, while when cows try and hype there games, they get......lair.

Resistance is a 9.0 easily. HS is an 8.5 tops, length is really what hurts it. From a cinematic perspective though I don't think there's a game in 07 or maybe on the market right now that touches HS, and it has a better combat system than many give it credit for. Is it Ninja Gaiden? No, but it's not bad. If they can lengthen the second game a little bit, say like 10 or 11 hours of gameplay while keeping the story on par with the first one, I'd have no problem saying HS could be an AAA series.

To be fair to cows, it has to be tough to play Lair then look over and see your counterpart playing Halo 3 and just let that person enjoy the game. They have to make themselves feel good somehow. :lol:

Heavenly Sword is a single player game only where as Gears of War happens to be a very goodmultiplayer game which adds much replay valuewith a 6-hour single player campaign tacked on. It's really that simple.

Exactly. Bioshock on PC deserved AAA, but because of all the glitches on 360, it should have been AA.

Well, with all the "Halo's MP is better than Gear's MP" and that a lot of people(even a lot of lemmings) say that its overrated, you will boune to suspect something ;)
