There isn't any logic, your analogy is full on things that don't match up. You act like $50 is a lot in this thread, but here in this poor analogy the difference of $16 is nothing to you, it's not consistent even with your own thread.

And I wouldn't call $20 for a span of 5yrs for a piece of hardware that will essentially lose it's usefulness over the next two years at best a pratical way to spend money.

And I'm not just picking on the price difference, albeit price to you seems to be a very huge deal considering the topic and the relatively small amount of money we're talking about.

Saying something isn't "worth it", does not factually prove it. I find it worth it for the cost, and am I wrong? No.

They don't make me pay $50. I willingly pay that small amount so I can play with the friends on my team I work with who also willingly payed the same. I think what you fail to understand is people aren't being forced, we like the service and what it provides (JJ aka Yellow Rose gave a great example). If I have to worry about saving $250 over a span of 5 years than that's pretty sad.

Anyway, there is no alternative for a single, unified, universal system that works for the entire console line. And no, not every PC game supports Xfire, cross-game chatting, or instant game joining from within a different game. Whereas on the 360, it's the norm rather than the exception.

You still refuse to get it.  I play the free trial.  When it runs out if I don't feel like this game is worth paying the $15/month to keep playing, I delete it from from my HDD and stop playing.

Saying something isn't "worth it", does not factually prove it. I find it worth it for the cost, and am I wrong? No.

They don't make me pay $50. I willingly pay that small amount so I can play with the friends on my team I work with who also willingly payed the same. I think what you fail to understand is people aren't being forced, we like the service and what it provides (JJ aka Yellow Rose gave a great example). If I have to worry about saving $250 over a span of 5 years than that's pretty sad.

I find it hard to call something that cost around 14cents a day a "rip-off". So far I haven't had any issues with the service for what it costs.-RPGamer-

ok, the WoW charges you 15 bucks a month, and you know why there are still alot of people paying it? it's not because they are so happy to pay and that WoW is so amazing.
