Witcher 3 on Consoles Will be 30fps Max, Probably Sub 1080p

Honestly who gives a crap,the Xbox one gameplay they showed off looked amazing and ran well resolution and framerate be damned i would be more than happy with that,if that means i can get the PC version and it runs and looks better then that's just gravy.

Your CPU will be fine but you may need to upgrade your GPU. When the 88* is released in a few months you'll be able to grab a pretty cheap 780/780Ti as people sell theirs to fund their upgrades.

my 2 year old mid-high tier pc [i got all the pieces with discounts sales etc.] is stronger than ps4 so its expected

i think it will be 30 fps 900p or less resolution i think this gen is pretty lame i mean when ps2 was released its hardware was a dream for pc users dont remember if anyone got that strong hardware but even if they did it was ultra expensive because i didnt see those in anyone

Losing quite a bit of interest especially after watching the choppy 35 minutes footage. Hopefully Cyberpunk is at least a steady 30fps.

@clyde46: As an ex electronic retail employee I can assure you that 95% of the people out there don't even know what 1080p is, 60fps would blow their minds. Hell, half the employees at these electronics stores don't even know what 1080p is.

Did anyone ever really think the laptop grade hardware in the "next-gen" consoles would be capable of 1080p/60 in The Witcher 3? Get real.

The difference is that Bloodborne is a Sony exclusive because it's being made by a Sony studio. Witcher 3 is going to run poorly on the consoles because they're garbage.

The PS2 was the best selling console of all time and it didnt last as long as the PS3. It has more to do with the cost of the hardware and how long it takes a company to make profit.

the 360 was packing high end prototype hardware that was to become a standard a year later. It didnt happen this time around... they are packing low to mid tier hardware. Now as for your i5 2500k its fast enough to the the job. Your GTX 570 is faster then the X1 and comes close to the PS4 however that 1.2gb Vram will most likely limit texture and screen resolution (ie high/1080). Now if you have the 2.5gb model you will be just dandy. CD will do a good job with scaling so you shouldn't worry in being able to run the game.

at E3 which was two months ago. Now they realize that it's probably not going to happen and look the way they want it to look anyway. Such is life with static hardware.

Being a console only gamer, this game looks like it will have a rough time on consoles. Watching that gameplay video was a little rough and can't imagine what it will play like on Xbone/PS4.

Its the 1.2gb version but i overclocked it past the 580. So from 730core im running it at 920core

I blame the xbone. if they weren't a xbone and this game was only for ps4 it would be 1080p locked at 60fps

It was running on PC . The only console footage they ever showed was that blurry mess at E3 M$ conference . The latest footage is from PC build , with Xbox Controller .

It almost doesn't even matter how low the resolution is or how bad the frame rate is on the console versions. Console apologists will claim that they can't see the difference, that it doesn't matter, that somehow 25 fps "looks better" or "more filmic" than 60fps, and on and on. It never ends.
