Witcher 3 sales | PC = 30%, Consoles = 70%

@AM-Gamer: lol most of those 1080p games run 1080p on a 5 year old pc. Besides thats just the resolution doesnt change the fact the graphics and the fps are vastly inferior.

That is a bad comparison. Most people can invest in a pc. Most people can't invest in a ferrari. That's a big fallacy. Again, people like consoles for a reason. Stop being a fanboy. PC does have its advantages, but so does consoles

1. Stop saying claims. It's a recorded fact. They are buying games, PC has more gaming revenue than all 6 consoles combined in 2014 and 2015. The thing is, it's accross a wide spectrum of games. PC has exponentially more games. So you won't see them all flood to one major release.

2. I agree, each console has it's advantage. I never said otherwise. I'm just pointing out that 30% of 3 system sales is just great for Witcher3, and CyberPunk will be on PC and vastly superior on PC, regardless of this attack thread. The OP is not changing the fact that PC gets the most AAA releases, and the best version of them. This thread is pointless.

Claims would mean they can be wrong, i am not. Again you said that before, can you prove this? This is a recorded fact. PC sold less. Yet why is it everytime a game comes to NPD sales on PC aren't #1?

This is all I'm saying in this thread:

1. 30% of 3 systems a few months back (PC sales are over time) is fine. Most of CDP's revenue was from PC since they make more from each sale. This thread is a farce.

2. This thread is also a farce because the result of the OP's data will not be less PC games. Instead we are seeing more and more AAA/AA games come to PC, and better on PC... more than any one console. The industry obviously disagrees with the OP.

3. PC sales are lower in NPD because PC sales are 1. Over time. 2. Not mostly in NA 3. Too much spread over exponentially more games. PC has more total gaming revenue than all 6 consoles combined, it has so many games.

I'm mostly disproving the OP. Why aren't you on his case for his false attacks? Do you think that PC making most of Witcher3's revenue will result in a negative impact on PC Version of Cyberpunk?

30% of sales between 3 systems is great, and not a failure PC sales will only increase over time, making this great into "amazing" eventually. Also, since digital nets them more cash, they made most revenue on PC. PC will see continued support and best version of CDPR games, as well as 99% of other publishers and developers. PC brings in great profit, and is not ignored. I'm missing the point of this thread.

He made a claim and backed it up by evidence. Is he wrong? If not, then he's right no matter how he put it. Two consoles with around 40 million users compared to what? It is straight from CDPR that digital sales becomes dominant over time from their previous PC games experience. It is not moving the goal post it is part of the topic.

Or were you talking about his 'most of the revenue was from PC'? I posted a breakdown of PC sales a few pages back for the first part of June having 22% of total sales digitally.

I didn't claim that, i said PC sales don't make a dent in the NPD sales. Also not all digital sales are public mmkay?

^He has to prove that 30% of sales out of 3 platforms several months ago is considered a failure in the industry. He did not back up the claim of "failed". Did CDPR say this was a failure? Did analysts call this a failure? Isn't that "failed" portion of his post an opinion? LINK!?
